This is an excellent fish and chip shop that I highly recommend but JAWS just next door is slightly better and slightly cheaper! The quality of the fish and other food is of excellent quality. Service can be slow if it's busy but everything is quality, quantity and fresh.

Approximate cost: $14

It claims to be "award winning" and I';m sure it is but having waited a long time to order at the counter a nice young waiter appeared from nowhere, took my order and my money and disappeared! So, it took longer ordering through him than at the counter. When I found he'd overcharged me I compained at the counter only to find that he had not even put the order through the till!!! Anyway, we were served, I got my change and all was well but at 10.30AM with no customers in site it was a rather complicated procedure. The coffee was excellent buit I wish we'd gone to the Deli for a better experience.($8 for two coffees??????=$7 in reality.)

This is a gift shop with a difference! If you like gift shops you will spend hours in there but what appealed to me was the sale of local products and especially the milk. I would not pay $3.50 for a litre of milk anywhere but their litre of milk is locally made and with cream on the top! I bought one litre a day during out stay and took the last six litres home. On the last day a local woman was giving away cucumbers as she couldn't eat or give away the amount she had grown in the garden! You had to be there at the right time, though!

Approximate cost: $3.50.

I was pleasantly surprised as I thought this was just a cafe. My two cpmpagnons were served first and I thought I would have to wait forever as I had ordered a rather large all day cooked breakfast. BUT NO! It arrived immediately. All in all, we had arrived, ordered, sat down and were served really quickly and all together. Excellent quality food, hot and fast.

The Deli has declined over the years offering less choices but the quality of the cafe and food has definitely increased. It is well located at the end of the main strip but has excellent coffee and excellent service./ There is a beautiful view of the trains coming and going.

Approximate cost: $3.50

This cafe seems to be full everytime I go there! Yet, the staff are cool and collected and well in control of the situation! Lovely coffe-very different from normal and excellent service.

Like the Confectionery shop in Leura this is a must if you are ex-Brit or just a child at heart! Lovely well priced lollies either Australian or British and well worth the visit. There are, unfortunately, less and less of the good old British chocolates etc. but still worth the visit.Maureen and Christine are very welcoming and will provide you with whatever they can. Maureen is definitely going to get me some REAL English tea!

Context: Friends invited us out to a "restaurant for dinner. We arrived to find a bar with stools and a bar so it was not what we had expected. The service was very quick but it was not my idea of a night out in a crowded bar with nowhere to sit properly. The food was excellent but very expensive and not very copious so it doesn't get the five stars. However, had we been more prepared it would certainly get a five star for service and quality. For a Saturday night it was very loud but a real buzz both for young and old. Most clients were young and out for a drink, chat and food. We were fortunate as we were outside and able to talk. Inside it was just loud shouting. My daughter had a $26 pizza, does not each much, but was still hungry afterwards! I refused to eat as it was far beyond my mean s. So, for five eating people we managed to spen $196 plus very expensive drinks . I wouldn't go back there again but was very impressed at the young people there eating, drinking and "shouting" in conversation. NOT the place to go when it's raining on a Friday or Saturday! Otherwise an excellent place for young people either before 7PM or in midweek.

I received a $50 voucher to spend at WINEMARKET. There's not much you can get for under $50. You must spend $50 and you must by in sixes or twelves. I managed to spend $42 plus $8 for delivery. RIP OFF! You must give a credit card because you must pay for the delivery. I await to see how much has been taken off my card!

Approximate cost: $50
