For a company that says "pay what you think you should pay" for the meal, they should go a long way. The food is good, service excellent and very good value. If you can't afford much then you pay what you can. Unfortunately some people can afford to pay but don't. Even though most of the staff seem to be volunteers they still have to pay their rent and utilities. i would rather pay them $30 for a main course than $20 in a local cafe. To be encouraged.

My daughter is interested in doing Hospitality so, on recommendatio we booked and went to the college for lunch. Run bu first year students their dress was immaculate and the Grand Dining Room welcomed us like film stars! The menu is limited but there are plenty of options. The beef broth was a fantastic starter followed by pork. I shared the couscous entree and the gnocci main course. These were of excellent quality. Being Winter and July we chose the Christmas pudding. and the apple crumble. Although they are student cooks and student waiters and waitresses the quality of service and food was excellent. I would highly recommend going there for lunch and, I believe, they do dinners. Our three course meal was $38 plus drinks. The food and service are of much better quality than any other cafe or restaurant. This is well worth the visit and there are guided tours if you are interested in looking at the college. Our waiter was Bill, from Indonesia and he talked about his experiences at the college and about the way they work and study. An excellent experience on a cold winter's afternoon.

FANTASTIC hot chocolate for $6.80 large!!! On a cold winter's day we wandered in there and were not disappointed. It is situated at the bottom of Bathurst Street, cross the road into Darling Harbour and turn right.. It is near the theatre. Well worth the visit.

I have only visited this place three times but I am impressed with the friendship of the two people running the café. They are so polite and courteous even remembering my coffee order from previously. Their coffee and hot chocolate are amazing and special. On-the-run, this is an excellent opportunity to park the car, have fast service and be back in the car quickly. Of course you can be leisurely and sit down with your coffee or hot chocolate and maybe eat something. I would need more time for that. Some day I'll do it! Coffee or hot chocolate is about four dollars depending on the size.

This is the old AROMA LIVING cafe that, unfortunately closed in December. It re-opened this week (June 2016) with a new owner. They are so friendly and are trying very hard to get to know people. Matt. runs the cafe at front of house and Kit (the new owner) runs the kitchen. The coffee is fantastic and quick, the food is amazing. It's very simple but is delivered fresh as quickly as possible. There are vegan dishes and everything else is free range and "housemade". It is small but very friendly. The menu is small but caters for everyone and there is a children's menu. We were very impressed. Clean, friendly and very new in an old butcher's shop. It is hoped they are very successful It is open from 7AM to about 4PM everyday except Tuesday. Most dishes are under $10 and nothing over $15.

We were staying next door and walked in on a Saturday evening with no booking. The staff were wonderful. They found us a table, we ordered the food and it came very quickly. Considering the night and the busyness of the place they served us very quickly and it was wonderful. The two spaghetti dishes were really tasty and I chose a salad which was fresh, crunchy and filling.
It is a very "pricey" place. I wouldn't come here for every meal despite holidaying in their hotel/rooms/resort. The pasta dishes, salad and drink came to $100 for three people. I would have loved their steak but it came in at $45 with no chips or anything else. Otherwise, Vivo is highly recommended.

This is a fantastic cafe on the main drag at Palm Cove nearer to the jetty. It is quite popular in the mornings and at lunchtime so head there when it's not so busy. There are several breakfast and lunch options at $5 only!!!Yes, you will need to add bacon and other things but we had vegetable fritters with avocado and it still only cost $10. The coffee is good, the service is fast and even though it was busy when we were there we were served very quickly. Other places on the strip will serve you the same food but at a much higher price. This is the place to go. Five stars!

This is a fantastic cafe/bar/restaurant where you can have a great meal or just a snack at any time of the day. The service is fast and the food and coffee really good. It's a bit hectic at meal times but a lovely place to sit, relax and watch the world and the beach go by.

This is a fantastic and fun way of earning rewards by answering surveys. They don't send me many surveys but after a time the points mount up and you can get Gift cards. I choose Woolworths, Coles, Bunnings, Target and the cards buy you whatever you like. No spam, no advertising, no selling, no presure. It is worth five stars but as they only send me a few surveys I've only given three! Give me more surveys!!!

This a newish cafe away from the main shopping area so parking is easier or just park in the centre car park and walk across the road. There is an exceptionally large choice of cakes and patisseries but the best two things are the coffee and the service.I went in for a take away coffee and stayed for two! Next time I might even stay longer for food! Being away from the busyness of the shopping centre cafes this is a cafe that is more relaxed with fast and efficient service. Highly recommended.
