This review is for Da Vinci's, Summer Hill NSW

We checked out the new owners at Da Vinci's. I was quite satisfied but my partner and daughter didn't like the food or the service. They said that the quality had gone down but the price had gone up. In comparison to the old owners it was not as homely and family orientated in its service. I was disappointed that there was no steak on the menu. In fact, if you don't like pizza and pasta there's not much else to order. My veal was very good byut my partner said it was worse than with the old owners and she objected to the waiter being abrupt and trying to clear the table before we'd all finished. The place was empty so there was no need to rush us out.

My daughter got an ALDI SIM for her new Iphone. It took ten days to get it activated (long story). An even longer story=On Friday 12th.July she was disconnected as she'd downloaded something she shouldn't. Still don't understand what or why. Despite 'phone calls to ALDI they were definitely not going to reconnect. My fourteen year old daughter took an aweroplane on her own from Queensland got lost in the train system but fortunately came home safely. Nearly two weeks later we are still not connected and ALDI won't speak to us. ZERO for ALDI but 10/10 for AMAYSIN who have taken over. ALDI have no idea of DUTY OF CARE or customer service. They should be out of business. I am NOT referring to ALDI supermarkets whose staff are fabulous.

This was BLANC MANGE rstaurant before but has become an all day cafe. Very young and friendly staff. I dropped in for a coffee and got excellent service. The place has been renovated and is much lighter and new looking than before. The menu is a bit limited but looks very tempting. The hamburger with chips (the only item that has chips with it!) looked really tempting at $15. I wish these people well as all the previous owners have been of great benefit to the community.

For a wonderful French pancake experience I can highly recommend this very original cafe/restaurant. I went in one afternoon and had a most fantastic take away ham and cheese pancake. Excellent quality made French style which is very unique. I could have sat down and been entertained by the wonderful French staff but I was in a hurry. Go and try out your French. You will not be disappointed! The pancakes (crepes) are made from buckwheat so be prepared for that special taste. I would prefer a normal pancake mix but this was out of this world. This cafe/restaurant is newish, not expensive and worth a visit.

This review is for Homoeopathy For Natural Health., Terrey Hills NSW

I visited this business and was pleasantly surprised. Held in a beautiful house in Terrey Hills 'Liz is most welcoming and accomodating. She takes her time listening to your complaints, ailments , aches and pains and takes copious notes while looking in her homoeopathic books. It takes a long time but she is so caring and lovely. She has treated me before with her little "tablets under the tongue" technique and they really worked. I couldn't believe the relief I had from an ailment in this all natural way. "Liz is a professional and an ex[pert. Highly recommendable and not too expensive. Book mfor at least an hour. You will come out feeling a new person.

Although established in 1970 it is like going back in time and paying 1900 prices! Open until 4.30ish except on Sunday and Monday it is well worth the visit. In the week you will get excellent service from Ros.as well as a super huge "Baby cone" for $1.70 and cakes and other things of various flavours. We have been going for years as we want decent homemade ice cream that is not full of chemicals like at the corner shop!!! As well as the cones you can buy tubs of various sizes and cakes and all sorts of things. They sell to supermarkets so their prices are only a little bit more than you'd pay elsewhere. It is a great outing for a family Four or five ice creams for about $10.

Having already written about my experience at this Bottle shop some weeks ago, I dared to return today, 11.5.13. and received excellent help and service from an exceptionally helpful, polite and energetic young man. The staff there explained that I should not judge the Bottle Shop on the experience I had had before from an over zealous employee. I am happy to comply as they were very efficient, courteous and helpful.

This review is for La Grande Bouffe, Rozelle NSW

verified email - 09 May 2013

I had been to this lovely restaurant in Rozelle many years ago but only as a "cafe" patron. It used to and may still be a sort of cafe/restaurant during the day. However, it was time to return. It is very very French and one of the few real French restaurants left in Sydney. I was happy to be in a French atmosphere and speak French with the two exceptional waiters.
I knew it would be expensive but I was looking forward to a decent French meal. The downside was that they do not have ordinary steak on the menu. Very disappointing! One can order a steak but it's for two people and about $100. So, I had to settle for the next best thing which was the steak tartare (raw steak cum mince meat). It was absolutely fantastic and well worth the price. My partner had veal and that was exceptiopnally good too. One of the failings of Australian restaurants is that they charge extra for vegetables. This is positively not in the French culture except at La Grande Bouffe. Disappointing!
To overcome all this disappointment therestaurant excelled in its presentation of a small entree of snails which were delicious and their lovely French bread. They also do a special three courses for $60 in the week. A most fantastic experience.

I have been going to this cafe for many years just for takeaway/pre-ordered food and coffees. Already that side is excellent! The downside here is that it very popular especially on weekends. Try and get a seat between 12 and 1.30 is very challenging. So, I went at 1.45PM on a Friday. While they were still very busy at that time choice of seating (it is completely exposed to the sun all day) was easier. The service was very quick and the quality of the "all day breakfast" absolutely excellent. My friend's Thai salad equally excellent. As it was after 2PM when we had finished there was no rush for us to leave or vacate the table. We actually sat talking for a long time. Overall this was an excellent experience. Two high quality and copious meals for $34.

I had been here for dinner years ago and it was excellent. Yesterday I tried the takeaway. I was blown away. I had hardly sat down outside after paying for my takeaway than it arrived. By the time I had got home the food was as hot as ever and as taste goes it was excellent. Two takeaway dishes cost about $16 each and both dishes could easily feed six people. This is really good quality. The restaurant looks good too and the prices are the same in the restaurant as for takeaway. The only down side is that parking is difficult in Summer Hill even though there is a big car park.
