My experience of this shop is terrible, very shocking!.
I bought a tea pot with candle warmer that cost me over $60.
I’ve never owned one before so I didn’t know that there were different sized warmers to fit each individual tea pot. Neither, it turns out, did the shop assistant who sold me the incorrect sized warmer for my teapot.

After getting home (from Kiama to Sydney CBD, as I was holidaying at the time) and trying the warmer set, I saw that the candle in the tea warmer wasn’t staying alight. After ringing the shop, I was informed that the warmer was to small for the tea pot, so air could go though to keep the candle burning.

After chatting with the shop over text message, I agreed to return the warmer via post at my own cost, under the impression that they would return the larger warmer to suit my teapot.

After weeks and weeks of back and forth text messages over who’s fault it is, I still have not received the warmer, and am out of pocket for an incomplete set, and the return postage of the warmer itself.

I purchased the item in the beginning of September 2017. It’s now May 2018 and I’ve not had the warmer, or any contact from the shop.
Very upset about the whole thing, as I did enjoy the shop when I was there.

Really disappointed that a shop with some lovely offerings has such a poor attitude to customer service - particularly important to display in a tourist town in peak season! Specifically, I put two items on 'hold' 4pm yesterday. Today, arrived in good faith to make my purchase. To my surprise they'd both been returned to stock and one sold in the process. I enqire (to the same salesperson I put items on hold with) who blithely states that she "thought I wasn't coming back". Well I did - but never again.

This is a gift shop with a difference! If you like gift shops you will spend hours in there but what appealed to me was the sale of local products and especially the milk. I would not pay $3.50 for a litre of milk anywhere but their litre of milk is locally made and with cream on the top! I bought one litre a day during out stay and took the last six litres home. On the last day a local woman was giving away cucumbers as she couldn't eat or give away the amount she had grown in the garden! You had to be there at the right time, though!

Approximate cost: $3.50.
