I had a pre purchase building inspection with Action Property Inspections and it was excellent!!!

The first thing you gotta know is that Andrew does all the inspections himself, so it gets booked out pretty quick. He arrived on time to the appointment and performed a very thorough inspection of all the house, the roof, inside the ceiling, wardrobes, he seriously checked everything. It was very informative along the way, explained to me every single detail and gave me advise in how to fix the issues he found.

His experience in the industry shows itself and on top of that he is a very nice and professional guy.

The report was emailed the same night, and it was an excellent report, very detailed, explanatory, with pictures and even some recommended additional documents to read.

The price I found it to be very good value for money. Believe me, you don't want to be cheap when you're buying something of around half a million dollars.

Overall, I would recommend Action Property Inspections to everyone and I will definitely use them again in the future.

We recently had an inspection carried out by Andrew for a house we had under contract. Andrew spent 2 and a half hours there and was extremely thorough. He checked the big things (building, structural issues, etc), but he also took the time to check all doors and windows, all cupboards, electrical appliances, etc!
We just had an inspection done on the house we are selling and the agent was impressed by the thoroughness of the inspector... I didn't want to say anything, but the inspector wasn't half as thorough as Andrew. Never checked doors, windows or cupboard doors.
I would recommend Andrew for any house you are buying, without hesitation. I know that I got the best possible report, with explanations, photos, a personal briefing after the inspection.
He is more expensive than other inspectors, but I had no hesitation paying the price, you are buying a property worth so much more!

Andrew completed a pre-purchase inspection of an apartment. His inspection seem quite thorough, covering off both the interior and common exterior areas as well as the roof.

I cannot compare the quality of this report against other inspections as I have not had any others completed for me. In general this was satisfactory.

The service was very good with Andrew arriving early and spending ample time walking me through the inspection results and answering questions after the inspection.

The cost of the inspection was higher than other quotes I received for inspection.

We had a building inspection done on a property we were looking to buy. The process took 2 hours to review the property then 30 minutes to be walked through the property. Our inspector was extremely thorough and answered all our questions in detail. It really felt like someone was on our side through the buying process which was an entirely pleasant and reassuring feeling. We now are walking into the sale with our eyes wide open to all the houses faults and time frames and rough costs to get them fixed. It really helps with our planning and also helped make our choice about whether to proceed. I'd highly recommend these guys. My estate agent was almost panicked when she saw our choice as she said they were the most thorough building inspectors that she'd come across and that in her experience other companies wouldn't pick up half as many faults. She said look its good for you I guess but these guys are hard asses. Which really made me feel like I'd made exactly the right choice.

I've had Andrew inspect two houses before considering purchase. One of the reports resulted in a withdrawal from purchasing a house with so many flaws that other building reports failed to highlight. Action was fractionally higher in cost than some of the other quotes I received however if you're purchasing a house the difference is negligible and I highly recommend their services. The report was detailed and Andrew spent a considerable amount of time explaining areas that required more discussion.

I contacted Action Property Inspections late via email to do a pre property inspection thinking I would get a reply the next day but instead got a reply with a day and time that same evening. Given our tight contract conditions this made me feel more at ease and appreciated the prompt reply. When we meet Andrew at the property he explained the process and conducted a through inspection of which I think made the owners a little nervous as they commented and how good he was. At the end of it he pulled us aside and explained a few of the more notable defects. With this we went back to the sellers and got a further discount for repairs. He even returned our call on a Sunday when we had a question for him. We would highly recommend Andrew for anyone waiting to purchase property. Andrew came out to inspect the house we were considering buying, he inspected the whole place inside and out from top to toe for an hour then showed us his findings in person. He took us through his findings and told us what needed to be done and how urgent the job was. Very professional from the moment we rang to make the appointment, and know what he is talking about. When he were finished he took our payment details and processed it when he got back to the office. An email receipt and in depth report was sent out. A pest inspection was done in conjunction with the building inspection it was by a separate company but do alot of work with Action Property Inspections.
