Andrew was able to provide a detailed and concise report detailing all defects with the property, whether they would be minor or major. Andrew also provided estimated rough costs of repair. With this thorough inspection, I was able to easily knock off $10K from the intial purchase price.

We recently had Andrew come and undertake the building inspection prior to purchase. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection and had a detailed report back to us the same day.

The vendor had also had an inspection done through a different company that were no where near as thorough as API, meaning we could rest easily knowing we had the best outcome

This level of insight was incredibly valuable and raised a couple of concerns that we were able to get the vendor to agree to fix prior to settlement.

The Action Property Inspection service did not cease at the inspection, I have subsequently had several further discussions with the team to explain some of the recommendations in detail.

With API you are able to purchase with confidence. We debated using a cheaper option, at the end of the day we were very happy that we choose API as you really get what you pay for. A detailed report, detailed talk through the issues with the property and most importantly Andrew gets onto the roof and into the nooks and crannies that other inspectors are not willing to do.

We are first home buyers and were very keen to get a building inspector who wasn't afraid to call things as they were, which was what drew us to API. Andrew's first availability was a week later (we can see now why he's so popular!), so we nervously awaited the big day. His services were very much worth the wait - we couldn't have hoped for a more thorough, frank, and friendly inspection. Andrew explained everything in simple terms without making us feel stupid, the final report (which we received around 12 hours later - we've waited longer for one line emails from other parties in the house-buying process!) was comprehensive and still easy to understand, and we ended up negotiating almost 2% off the sale price based on the items he'd classified as needing immediate attention. We are still novices in the real estate game, but allowing sufficient time in the conditions of the contract to get our pick of building inspectors was hands down one of the best decisions we made in the whole process.
