If you love fudge visiting this place is like you've died and gon to heaven.there must be over 50 different fudges to choose from. Rum and risin is my favourite (contains real rum too). The ladies behind the counter will let you try a little of any fudge that takes your fantasy, and we tried quite a few.

This place has to be the busiest fruit shop I've ever been too. It doesn't matter what day or what time I go there, the place is always packed. I have no doubt the reason for this is the amazing specials they have on a wide range of fruit and veggies, not just a few items. Be warned though, the product may be cheap, but the quality is not always there, and I found it often doesn't have a very long shelf life.

The fruit and veggies at this store are fresh, well displayed, and reasonably priced. They always have great specials every week. What I love the most is that they open before 8 in the morning week days. It's handy if you want to pick up something for lunch (they have lovely Greek yogurt) before work, or just want to get your weekly shop done early in the morning. Best of all, you can use the Westfield gift card you receive from WOMO!

Being a coffee addict, I had to try this place. Seems like I wasn't the only one as the place was packed. Despite how buy they were we were served quickly, and the staff that looked after us were really lovely. Was impressed that they had a few gluten-free cakes to chose from. I didn't indulge this time, but will definitely have to on next visit.

If you're heading to Brighton for fish and chips, do yourself a favourite and visit this shop. If you purchase fish and chips from the couple of takeaway places on the waterfront in Brighton you will pay twice what you have to pay for the same thing at this shop and have to wait twice as long (know this from experience). The shop is run by a very hardworking Chinese family who will deliver cod and chips for $6.80 in no time - even at rush hour. The shop is nothing to look at, and there is no table and chairs for dining in, but if you're wanting a decent feed at a decent cost, this is definitely the place to go.

We went to see Kitty Flanigan at the powerhouse on the weekend and was totally impressed with this place. There is an area outside where you can sit and have a drink and something to eat with a perfect view of the Brisbane river and the surrounding city. It's very rustic which adds to the charm of he place. The theatre we sat in only held 500 people, which made it a more intimate experience, and the seating was comfortable. The only negative I found was the alcohol was very expensive.

These markets are different to the norm, because it is. Ade up of stalls run by incredibly creative people. Lots of different clothes designed by locals and artists showing their wares. I love that they've closed off Stanley St to make way for more stall and makes room for those with prams. Stop and have a coffee at one of the trillion coffee shops or have some lunch at Southbank afterwards and you have found the perfect wy to spend a Sunday in Brisbane.

Went here after a night out and was very surprised how many staff there were available to service a small amount of customers. There was a wide range of good to chose from, but it was quite overpriced and nothing different and exciting. I am gluten-intolerant and was disappointed the menu didn't show gluten-free options like they do in many restaurants these days. The wine we had was also very ordinary and expensive. Probably won't come here again, even though the atmosphere was nice.

Stayed here on the weekend as part of a 'surprise deal', which turned out to be a surprise as we got charged an extra $30 parking which we hadn't been told about. Other Han that, the room was beautiful, and the position right in the heart of the city. Staff at reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful. However, turned out to be very expensive night stay

We recently booked a 'surprise package', which was meant to be a 4 or 5 star nights accommodation in Brisbane for $150. We decided although a little more expensive then we could afford, we would treat ourselves. We were very annoyed that on arrival we were told we would have pay an extra $30 for parking, which had not been mention as part of this deal. Made for lot more expensive night than we had planned. Will use Wotif again, but won't be taking up any surprise deals again.
