This place is awesome! The quality and variety of fruit and vegies is amazing. $2 for a bag of 20 small limes. $2 for a bag of 10 passionfruits. They also have a wide range of spices and continental products.

I wish this place was closer to where I live because I would shop here every week.

This shop has an amazing choice of teas to choice from, many of which are caffeine-free. They had half a dozen different teas available to try,and the staff are friendly and more than happy to answer any questions you may have about their tea. I was using a gift card I received for Christmas, but I don't think I would shop here otherwise as the tea is very expensive. However, really enjoyed my visit today!

This review is for Scarborough Skin Clinic, Scarborough QLD

verified email - 18 Nov 2012

My husband recently visited this clinic as he has had skin cancers in the past and was concerned about a few moles he had on his body. His previous GP had done skin checks on him himself, but on the advise of his new GP, he decided to go to a Skin Clinic to be checked out this time. Thank God he did.

Although my husband was concerned about a few spots on his back and arm, the doctor was more concerned about a mole type spot on his foot, not a place you would expect to find a skin cancer. He did a biopsy there and then, and the next day rang and asked to see him urgently. It was a melanoma!

Much to our relief, he organised to have the melanoma removed straight away. I can't remember the cost for each visit, but it was minimal and well worth every cent.

Knowing what we know now, I can't stress strongly enough how important it is to have your skin checked regularly at a skin clinic. The GP my husband used to visit had obviously missed this spot on his foot, and had he not gone to the Skin clinic when he did, I dread to think what the consequences would have been.

I can't thank the doctors at this Clinic enough!!!

I had read the reviews about this service on WOMO, so decided to try when my 19 year old son became really ill on Sunday morning.

The receptionist who answered the phone was very polite and efficient and informed me of cost involved with this visit. For only $42 annual subscription, my family of 4 will be able to be bulkbilled for 12 months for any visits made to our home. FANTASTIC value. I think if you have a healthcare card this subscription is free.

I was told that the doctor could be up to 11/2 hours. but when half an hour the doctor rang to say he was 25 minutes away.

The doctor who arrived was lovely, and put my son at ease instantly. He was able to write a script, issue a medical certificate for absenteeism and only required a medicare card to bulkbilling.

Cannot speak highly enough about this service!!

To say this restaurant is outstanding is an understatement! Myself and 7 of my work collegues were looking for somewhere to have a breakfast early on a Friday morning. When I rang this restaurant to make a booking, the owner agreed to open earlier than normal to accommodate us. Within 5 minutes of our arrival, all of our meals were on the table, as were our drinks. Impressive, as amongst our orders were eggs benedict, omelettes, big breakfasts, and pancakes, and everyones meals were 10/10.

This place has a lovely atmosphere - it feels like your in a lovely, huge outdoor pergola!! Can not speak highly enough of this place. Can't wait to bring my husband for breakfast one Sunday morning.

We stopped for a coffee at this place a few days ago and was really disappointed. Even though there were very few people around, it too 10 minutes to get our coffee. Mine was really weak whilst my husbands was too strong and all froth. If they can't get a coffee right, would not want to risk having a meal here.

This review is for The Mouses House, Springbrook QLD

This place is absolutely awesome!! My husband and myself spent a couple of days and nights in one of these beautiful chalets a week ago and were blown away by the forest surrounds. The chalet was well equipped with potbelly stove (chopped wood supplied), a kitchen with all modern cons and best of all, a large spa which had views of the surrounding forest, but was totally private. My husband and I took this time here as an opportunity to 'reconnect', but it would be a lovely place to spend a honeymoon. We spent a day walking through the National Park down the road and saw some of the beautiful rainforest, waterfalls and views of the Goldcoast in the distance. What topped it off for us was how helpful and friendly the owner The Mouses House is. They are truly passionate about their business. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Approximate cost: $430 for 2 nights

I really can't understand how this place remains a viable business. The shop is dirty and dated. Bought a carton of milk the other day, and as soon as i opened the fridge, there was a horrible smell that hit me. Have bought pasta from here in the past that was out of date and had weasels. The milk I bought was twice what I would have paid if I had bought it at a supermarket. To top it off, the family members that run this shop are unfriendly and indifferent. Would love an IGA to open up in this area and give this place some competition!

I contacted this charity to organize to donate some furniture so that they sell it in their store. The girl who answered the phone seemed to be confused about my request to have someone come and look at the furniture we wished to donate. She placed me on hold for a few minutes and when she came back said someone would ring me in a few minutes to get my details. That was hours ago and still haven't received a call.

This is the 2nd place I've rung to try to give away furniture, and had no one bother to showup/ring. Didnt think it would be so hard to give something away!

This review is for Makin Mattresses, Nundah QLD

verified email - 12 Oct 2012

When we were unable to find a mattress the size that we needed, we contacted Makin Mattresses to see if they could make a mattress to our specification. They replied to our email straight away with all the information we needed to make an informed decision

We went in person today to order the mattress we wanted, and we're blown away by how helpful the shop assistant was who served us. What I found really impressive was how much she knew about the product she was selling, something you don't see that often these days. Needless to say we ordered a mattress there and then.

After leaving the store, we received a phone call from this helpful lady to say I'd left my wallet behind. On returning to the store she was waiting in the car park for us so I didn't have to get out of the car. That's service for you!

Approximate cost: $2000
