A fantastic gallery that caters to a wide range of tastes. The exhibits are usually incredibly well set up, and there's a lot of attention to detail when it comes to making exhibits more interactive. All in all a wonderful way to spend a day.

Reasonable quality food and drink, if a bit pricey for what you get. While the business has some fairly good specials to bring in business, I think they would be improved with some more training for the staff. It's always incredibly noisy because dishes are being slammed around or dropped. I've had staff forget to give me an advertised discount, called them on it, and had them close the cash drawer and then say there's nothing they can do because the drawer is closed. All in all, much easier to walk downhill for a good coffee with decent service.

Decided to try this place out tonight and certainly won't bother going back. When we were first seated we were asked if we wanted drinks, I said I wanted to look at what they had and grabbed the drink menu. The waitress stood over me, staring and tapping her foot until I ordered. Not a great start, especially given it wasn't an incredibly busy night. While looking at the food menu, she came back to ask if we were ready to order (though the fact we were reading should have been a clue). When we were ready to order, it took about ten minutes to get her attention. We were seated near where they store the menus, and the way the staff kept throwing them down onto the bench got incredibly irritating. When the orders came, the new waitress called them by different names to the menu, and got quite frustrated when we repeated our order to her instead of just accepting it under a new name. Neither of the two orders were right; one had to be sent back and a new piece of steak prepared (a medium rare order cooked well done), and the other had elements missing and was undercooked. The ‘salad and coleslaw' element of the salad was basically diced cabbage core and a wedge of tomato with a few wilted greens thrown in. When the redone steak was handed over, it was missing elements, too. The only good aspect of the night was the supervisor, who was helpful and tried to make sure the second steak was heading towards what we ordered.

Approximate cost: $35

The person on hand was disinterested and unhelpful, and in the end it was easier to go home and google before going back in store to make a purchase than it was trying to ask the sales person for information. While the products are great, I've got no intention of returning to this store.

The staff here are always pretty friendly, if usually quite busy. Service is normally pretty quick, and they make the best coffees in town. I've seen the staff deal with a few horror customers over the years, and I've always been amazed at how polite and reasonable the staff are.

The Art Shed is the sort of place you go to once and fall hopelessly in love with. The staff are all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the supplies available. There's a wide range of products, from kids and beginners quality up to the far more expensive brands. If you have kids, this is the place to go for holiday activity prep- lots of Mont Marte brand ranges for cheaper than you can get at cheap stores. I've only ever had one issue with their products (which had nothing to do with them, it was a production issue), and the reply was same day and incredibly helpful- a DIY fix suggestion (in case I lived too far away to get in store anytime soon) and a promise to replace the canvases if I could bring them instore for an exchange. Brilliant customer service, and a store I can't recommend highly enough.

I went into this store yesterday to try and find something nice to wear to a wedding. The sole staff member was rude and unhelpful; as soon as I'd finished asking for help she walked off and didn't come back for over 5 minutes- long enough for me to search the shelves and leave. I could maybe understand it if I'd been rude or demanding, but I'd been in a good mood when I walked in! Definitely not bothering with this store again.

This is the business formerly known as 'Paper Addiction' which was located in Strathpine, QLD. It's moved to a similarly sized building with cheaper rent, which means that the cost of product has dropped. It wasn't overpriced before, but now it's even better value. The staff are friendly, the stock well cared for and well organised, and the owner, Debra, is happy to look into getting in products if asked.

My friend and I now plan our trips to Canberra so that we always stay at this hotel. We will change travel dates if it means staying here. The owners are amazingly friendly and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a positive one. Our last trip, for example, we ended up arriving far later than we'd wanted, and the owners had to go out for a few hours because of a family emergency. We arrived to meals on the table, and because it had been a bit cold, they'd put on the electric blankets. Their food is beautiful, I've stayed there three or four times and have never had a complaint. It's the friendliness, though, that wins my loyalty. I cannot say enough nice things about this business!

I love this store!

It's small, small enough that it can feel cramped when busy, but the overwheming range of crystals, fossils and shells more than makes up for it. I've yet to find another Brisbane store with anything near the range. The book section is small, though they have a good herb section, and their trinkets are beautiful.

Fair prices, and fantastic quality crystals. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and I've noticed on more than one visit that people wander in for a chat, even if they're not shopping. Be warned, though, there's not a lot of parking!

It's got a fantastic, friendly vibe, and it's easy to lose track of time here. If you want a wide range, this is the place to go in Brisbane.
