I wish I could give this place a NEGATIVE score! The place I usually go for eyebrow wax was closed over the Christmas period so I thought I'd give this place a go. Their website looked great and I thought that if all they did was waxing...they'd be pretty good at it!!! I was SOOO wrong!

I got my waxing done at 1pm yesterday and as I sit here typing this, I can barely see out of one eye because it is so swollen with a big red gash along my skin where some has obviously been torn off!

Now, I normaly go a little red after a wax but have been to many different places and have NEVER had two swollen eyes and one with a red gash along it before. This is NOT what you would expect from a salon where you have paid good money and who supposedly get their business from being experts at waxing!

The girl who did it wasn't friendly didn't say "oh you should put some ice on that" or anything of the sort. I have now cancelled plans for the rest of the weekend because my eyes are so swollen. My eyelids are pushing down onto my eyelashes!

Ok - now back to pressing ice blocks against my eyes ! :-)

We went here to look for a puppy. The staff were so helpful and they insisted that we return home to get our other dog (bit of a pain as it is SO far away) so that the puppy and our dog could be let out in the yard to ensure that they get along etc. It was great to see how much they all loved the puppy and cared about where he would be going.

If you want photos that make you (and anyone you show) say "OH MY GOD...THAT'S AWESOME" then you need to book Tim Marcus from Suede Imagery.

The company used to be called Tim Marcus and Associates. We found out about him from a bridal magazine, he has won HEAPS of awards and the photos are just STUNNING! He only uses film not digital (so we thought it would be WAY too expensive for us but it wasn't) and the photos are art not just wedding snaps. Our album is AMAZING! We have never seen another album like it.

Tim and his staff are SUPER lovely we never felt posed, bossed around or anything on the day - all photos are stunning but he never said "1,2,3 smile" etc, it was just fly on the wall stuff....can not recommend enough...seriously....book TIM MARCUS!!! You won't regret it! Booking these guys was the best decision we made in organising our wedding.

This place has a great location, lovely singer on Sundays and the food is nice (not great but nice)...however the service is TERRIBLE! We often get so frustrated that we decide we won't go again, wait a few months, try again..and leave frustrated with the service (we really should learn!!!). It often takes over 20 minutes for someone to come and speak to you then after they take your order it is near impossible to get their attention again! Never enough wait staff and when there is, they just don't attend to their customers properly - too busy chatting at the bar!

Mark did the choreography for our wedding dance. He was fantastic, very patient and VERY funny...my reluctant fiance had a great time learning the dance and mucking around. Unfortunately we danced TERRIBLY on the night, much to the amusement of our guests but this doesn't reflect on Mark's teaching...rather on our lack of rhythm and amount of 'refreshments' we had consumed by that point of the night :-)

This is the cutest cafe I have been to in a long time! The food is delicious and they serve breakfast all day. It is very popular with visitors and bike riders! There is an open fire inside with couches and reading material. You can also sit outside on the verandah which has pull down blinds and heaters if needed. My husband LOVES the breakfasts and I have had the chicken schnitzel foccacia which is delicious, they have home made mayo. All of the food is so fresh and hot...we have been back time and again. Oh and the scones and cakes are delicious too!

I stayed here before and on the night of my wedding (we got married in the Ballroom which is run by Parks Victoria) and the staff were AWESOME! Nothing was too much trouble, offering to carry things from the car etc, bringing me scissors in a rush at the last minute (dress issues!) I would advise anyone to spoil themselves and stay there. Oh and breakfast at Joseph's restaurant is DELICIOUS!

I have used these guys for a few work functions and the food is AWESOME! The staff are great to deal with and my colleagues now request that we use these guys to cater all our funtions and meetings - even our Christmas Party!

BOM is THE place to get your wedding gown from! I had been with friends who experienced rude sales staff at some stores and had felt horrible for the experience. When I went to BOM it was an ENTIRELY different experience. Luisa (my sales person) was AMAZING and I have told other friends to go to her. She was funny and knew her stuff, she dismissed every gown I chose for myself and made me try on her suggestion (I would never have choesn it myself) and then encouraged me to shop around..I went back and brought that first gown.

I had my wedding flowers done by Kate at Floral Affairs. They are set up for weddings with a table and chairs set up, LOTS of photos of their work etc. They spent a lot of time making suggestions etc and then when I changed my mind at the last minute - they didn't mind at all. The flowers were a talking point at the wedding because they were so fresh looking and beautiful. They were delivered on time (to two seperate venues) and price was extremely reasonable.
