I went today with my 2 and 4 year old kids. I have to say, wasn't very impressed. The floor and carpet areas were filthy and the whole place had a grimy feel to it. The toddler area has cars and things but not enough room to ride them. My coffee was pretty bad but the kids had some chips which they liked (hard to get those wrong I suppose). Wouldn't be going here again.
Nice clean cinema, comfortable seats but didn't like that there is allocated seating - why sit where you are told when you are entering a nearly empty cinema? Also very expensive, 1 adult and 1 child for a kids movie cost over $30:00
Friendly people, crispy and fresh food - awesome potato cakes...don't go anywhere else this place is great
I booked a passport appointment online and had confirmation. When I walked up to the counter the woman said "yes" and I told her I had an appt at 10am and she said "what time" and I repeated "10". She sighed, rolled her eyes and said "well, give me the form".
She flicked through and said "you can't cross anything out and your photo is too small".
I said "oh, I got the photo done across the road at the chemist" she said "well it's wrong, so you need to do it again". Then put the form back on the counter!
I said "well, could I have another form then" so she stomped off and got one.
I can't believe how terrible the service was. I walked in and as soon as I told her I was there for an appointment she acted like I was a major annoyance and she couldn't be bothered to do it. Surely this is a main part of her job!!!
Rather than say "sorry, I know it's a pain but you'll need to do it again" she seemed happy, relieved even that she didn't have to process my form.
I went back to the chemist and told them that she said the photo was too small and she said "I know exactly which woman you are talking about - everyone has trouble with her, take the form to another post office".
In a small shopping strip, to have traders advise against going to each others stores is appalling - this woman needs serious re-training or a different profession entirely.
I live around the corner but will now drive to get to a post office rather than going to this store ever again.
My daughter attended classes at their Newport location and the teacher Miss Penny was excellent. I liked how they incorporated themes in the lessons and included sections where parents helped their children and sections where students danced alone.
However - I have had to cancel this Term because my work changed days. I contacted them via email twice - to compliment them on their teacher and to ask to arrange a refund because I had paid in full for the Term and the lessons had not even begun for the year yet.
No reply.....I emailed again a few days later......no reply
I called them and it goes straight to message bank.....no return call.....I called again the next day and left another message.....no return call.
That level of service is just awful! I understand if they would keep some money without refunding it all....or even if they were not going to refund any money to me (which is not good enough especially as the class isn't full so it is not as though they have turned people away to keep our position) they should at least respond to emails and/or phone calls!
With so many choices for children dance classes out there.....I would suggest you choose somewhere else - somewhere that values their clients and at least responds when contacted repeatedly.
Approximate cost: $120 per term
We have been attending this clinic for over 2 years and have never regretted doing so. All of the staff are fantastic and either doctor are thorough and attentive to both us and our children. We advise our friends to attend the clinic, especially if they have little kids because we are thrilled with the service we get.
I did a trial here with my child and was very disappointed. The staff were friendly but the class was large and there was a LOT of 'free time' on equipment and not a lot of instruction or explanation as to the reasoning behind each activity (e.g this builds fine motor skills etc). Won't be joining here.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Sirens this week. The service was exceptional, we were waited on by the same person all night who made excellent drink and food suggestions - he was attentive without hovering over us during our dinner. The food was absolutely PERFECT and the venue superb - what else could you want?
Approximate cost: $30
We went here for dinner because we had read so many fantastic reviews on this website. It certainly didn't disappoint! We had the amazing cheese sticks with ranch dressing and then My husband had a burger and I had a chicken strip roll which was just plain silly because it was WAAY too much food however my husband couldn't resist also ordering Taco Fries which were AMAZING!!! We strongly suggest you try them. Misty was just lovely and we are already planning a return meal there!
We have been here a few times, love the location and the TAPAS are fantastic! Great menu and atmosphere the only unfortunate thing is the wait staff. Sometimes there are too many staff and keep bothering you and other times it is almost impossible to get their attention...we had two on our last visit who didn't understand english very well which made it difficult to ask questions and order.
