Our favourite new Thai place. We ordered through Delivery Hero. I had a call from Ferntree Thai shortly after to say they'd run out of meat for one of the dishes, and did I mind switching to chicken, which was fine.
The food was delivered on time. Everybody enjoyed it. It wasn't too spicy, the kids were happy, and the price was reasonable. We will order from them again.

Ordered a meal deal of 2 pizzas, garlic bread, and a sparking mineral water.
The pizzas were delivered 15 minutes before the stated delivery time- great!
The sparkling mineral water was just soda water which we don't drink. I mentioned it to the delivery guy, but he just shrugged his shoulders and proffered a 'sorry'.
The pizzas (Hawaiiian and Alchester Special) were nice, although I think for this area, I probably prefer Fat Chef's Pizzeria.
Unfortunately, shortly after eating, my eldest was in tears feeling sore in the tummy. And then my youngest woke up at 1am and did a huge vomit.
I don't think we will be ordering from them again...

I visited the new retro café inside the Goodlife Party Shop with my 2 year old, while we were waiting for my mum who was at the nearby hospital for an appointment.
The décor is really fresh and groovy, which was what attracted me into this café, over the others in the strip.
We ordered a hot chocolate, and a milkshake with fresh cream on top. The menu specifically lists fresh whipped cream as an option for an additional $1.50. This is rare to find, as most cafes will use whipped cream from a can...which is not fresh whipped cream at all.
So you can imagine my surprise, when I see the owner squeezing cream out of a can into my son's milkshake.
A young waitress brought over my hot chocolate. It was almost filled to the brim, and then had the thinnest layer of froth on top I've ever seen. It had just enough hot chocolate powder in it to make it brown, but had hardly any flavour at all. Because it was so full, she spilt it on the way over, onto the complimentary wafer on the saucer, which then became soggy.
When I went up to pay, I said politely to the owner 'I noticed you squeezing cream from a can into the milkshake, when the menu says fresh whipped cream- have you run out of cream today?'. He replied that he had a few 'bad batches' of cream, and so had switched to the canned stuff.
When I said that I would not have ordered 'fresh whipped cream', if it was in fact cream in a can, and suggested he update the menu, he said 'Oh, that's something I can take into consideration', and then CHARGED ME FULL PRICE FOR THE DRINK- $10 for the hot chocolate and milkshake. WHY would I want to pay an additional $1.50 for fresh whipped cream when we didn't get it!
It concerns me, as they also run a party food business, so if they are taking shortcuts like that in the café, I wouldn't trust them to prepare my food as ordered, particularly when there are so many people with allergies and intolerances these days (including my son!).
Very very disappointing experience, left a very sour taste in my mouth. I've never had a hot chocolate so bad that I've left half of it before, and then to have the owner charge full price when the item on the menu was not as described is just not ok.

I visited Asha for a targeted nutrition facial. Asha is so different from any other therapist I have seen for a facial in the past. She is uniquely qualified to deal with any skin concerns, as she is both a naturopath and dermal therapist.
In the past when I've had a facial, it's been rare for the therapist to ask any questions about my skin...or if they have, it's usually 'what type of skin do you have?'. Dry? Ok...and off we go, they start slapping products on your skin and you have no idea what they're doing.
Asha spent a long time talking with me about my overall health and skin concerns. She then looked at my skin under UV light, and a Woods lamp, which shows you things which aren't visible to the naked eye.
I found this really motivating, as I could see just how dry my skin was. So when she recommended to me the importance of using my skincare products twice daily, I really understood WHY I needed to do it; rather than it just being an average recommendation.
The facial itself was very informative and relaxing. I asked loads of questions and Asha was able to answer everything confidently and with the detail I wanted to know.
She also uses only natural products with no nasties, but that still get results- something very important to me, as I'm currently expecting my third child.
I will be recommending Asha to anyone I know who doesn't have the clear skin that they want. She is amazing.

My eldest son unfortunately needed extensive dental work, and after a trip to the local community dentist, we decided to see a specialist paediatric dentist for a second opinion and to see if we could make the experience a little more pleasant, to set up good dental habits for life.
We see Dr Anu, and she has taken the time to make my son feel at ease. He ended up having surgery under general anaesthetic, which was VERY costly at approx. $5000, compared to $35 at the community dentist for basic treatment under local, but at least now I know the work has been done properly.
The waiting room is beautifully set up for children (as you would expect), with gaming consoles and plenty of toys.
Highly recommend this practice if you have nervous children!

Too tired to cook one night recently, we ordered takeaway to be delivered from Kingsland.
We got one of the value packs, which had plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
The meal was delivered on time, and the kids enjoyed it, which means it's a winner for the future.

Visited here with my husband for our anniversary dinner. We enjoyed the set banquet.
We were seated right next to the wall with fish tanks, which freaked me out a bit having different sea creatures staring at me while I was eating.
I'd love to go back and sit on the other side of the restaurant. Service and food were lovely.

The first time I visited Fat Chef's, my toddler had a bit of a cry in the shop as he decided last minute that he wanted chips instead of pizza. Fat Chef's gave us a free small bucket of chips with our order- how often do you get customer service like that these days?!
Their pizzas and garlic bread are delicious, and they are very friendly.
On the occasions where we choose to have pizza, we now only visit Fat Chef's.

I recently attended this practice and saw Michael Black. He has had a profound impact on my quality of life in my third pregnancy. I am now able to walk freely as a result of just a few sessions with him, and am looking forward to continuing to see him throughout my pregnancy to maintain this state of good health and movement.

I recently attending Crocs Ringwood with my 2 kids for a birthday party. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bright, spotlessly clean play centre for us to enjoy.
There were a number of different themed party rooms. The play area was awesome fun, with plenty of balls going up vacuum tubes that one could fire down on those below from the upper levels. I think I may have had more fun than the kids.
The toilets were clean, with plenty of step stools for the little ones to reach the sink.
Will definitely return. Best play centre I've been to in a very long time.
