The Tecoma strip's newest addition, Café 1551 is a groovy little café.
I visited with my mum, and enjoyed a chai latte. We shared a chocolate brownie which was divine, molten in the centre and oozing luscious chocolatey goodness.
Service was fast and friendly, will return.
Amanda is an amazing reiki therapist who is adept at creating a relaxing and calming space, so that as soon as you walk in, you know you can let everything go and will be well looked after.
Sessions with Amanda help me feel centered and relaxed, and give me clarity.
I recently started pilates with Danni. I had begun to feel a bit stiff and sore early in my pregnancy, and wanted to take preventative action to stop it worsening, as well as get a bit of exercise.
Danni conducted a very thorough initial consultation. She is very bright and bubbly, and makes attending sessions lots of fun.
I am currently halfway through a program with her and look forward to continuing throughout my pregnancy.
Popped in for a quick lunch and tried the dumplings and ginger spring onion beef noodles. Service was quick. The food was nice, but nothing I would make a trip back for...only if I was passing through the area.
We have been seeing Dr Rough since mid last year for my son. She has been great in referring us to specialists for additional assessments, and has been very thorough and caring in her approach.
There is a small toy box in the waiting room which makes the waiting time easier.
Dr Rough is different in that she is much more holistic and integrative than other paediatricians we have seen, which we really appreciate.
My son has been seeing Debbie Isaac for occupational therapy since late last year.
We have been very happy with the practical suggestions made, and the improvement since he has started sessions with her.
She has been available to attend school meetings, and by phone when needed, which has been very helpful and reassuring.
I have been taking my son to see Kate at Merge Health.
She is very knowledgeable and was able to refer us for all the bloodwork/tests we needed to get to the bottom of what was going on for him.
Her treatment suggestions have been effective, and we are very happy.
I have been taking my son to see Loretta at Clarity Plus since late last year.
She is highly experienced and knowledgeable, and really really cares about her work.
She always takes the time to discuss concerns.
My son attends a socials skills group on a Saturday, for which we receive a report each time detailing what they have done, and what we can do at home to continue the learning.
Loretta has written reports for our school, and also stayed in contact with other specialists as needed.
There is a great toy corner in the reception area which makes waiting with younger siblings easy.
Highly recommend.
I took my son here recently for a cognitive assessment with Julia.
She made every effort to establish rapport with him before beginning the assessment, by having football cards ready. This really helped him relax before he started.
She took time at the end to talk with me, and I had the report within 3 weeks.
There were toys available for younger siblings, and the practice is located right next to an excellent café and kids' playground.
I've been taking my 5.5 year old son to Julian for beginner piano lessons.
Julian is very patient and adapts his lessons to make them of interest to my son- for example, my son is football obsessed, so the following week Julian brought in some sheet music of the Adelaide football club theme song for him to learn.
There is a toybox available to keep any younger siblings amused.
Approximate cost: $30
