Love this place they stock all sorts of cakes and desserts and also make up wedding cakes Christmas puddings and cakes. A little expensive but so is the cheesecake shop and these are so much better. Buy a serving or take home a full sized cake, its your choice. So many to choose from but my favourite is the explosive raspberry chocolate cake delicious

20 years Lamb on Chapel have been in business for and are known for their delicious souvlaki's and my husband and I love our souvlaki's so stop here when in the area. Generous serving of meat salads and garlic sauce rolled up on traditional souvlaki bread, I can never finish all mine. I love biting into one and let the garlic sauce go all over my face. So enjoyable, pop in and check them out for yourself

This review is for 1806 Cocktail Bar, Melbourne VIC

Another Melbourne Institution and I'm so glad we came here, to try this place The bar is modern, and has plenty of seating. Recommended to me by a friend, we all met up and had a great evening. The staff were so helpful at helping us to choose one of their many cocktails. It's all themed too, cocktails from different time periods. If you're in the area stop by, you won't regret it. Best cocktail bar in Melbourne that I have been too.

Great reputation as the owner is George from masterchef, I was really suprised with how good the food was and the final bill I received. The seating was great, service brilliant and I have paid much higher rates for not so nice meals before. Will be back for sure

This review is for Chocolate Buddha (Federation Square), Melbourne VIC

Japanese menu, the food's not particularly authentic, so this is just an excuse for a lazy service. The food itself is rather pricey for what you get, and I don't think it's all that good either. I ordered the sushi that is described on the menu as coming with "panko crumbed prawn, kingfish, and red onion". Imagine my surprise when I got a few skinny bits of sushi with what looked like cut up bits of schnitzel inside. After asking about this a couple of times, it was explained to me that the prawn and kingfish were mashed up together, crumbed, and fried. Not what I would have expected at all, and not very tasty. In a city with so much delicious and affordable Asian food, I really can't think of any reason to visit Chocolate Buddha again

This review is for Spud Bar, Melbourne VIC

Great range of spuds from here. Delicious and fresh. Plus the guy who works there is awesome. Food is super filling and great value. My fave is the classic with bacon, probably the best hot spuds around hubby's favourite is the bolognese spud. So much better than so many other places to eat

What a treat! I am kicking myself that we haven't visited D.O.C earlier. Has to one of the best pizzeria's around, sure it gets busy but that's because the pizza is amazing, light, fresh and tasty. Love the selections of mozzarella and the busy atmosphere. We've found our new favourite pizzeria!

This review is for South Melbourne Dim Sims, South Melbourne VIC

verified email - 09 Jan 2014

I hear people rave about these Dim Sims all the time and finally gave in and had to try one myself.
I don't understand the fad about these Dim Sims. There is always a massive line during lunch time. And they're just like any other dim sim you get from the fish and chip shop but slightly bigger. I actually prefer the dim sims from the fish and chip shop or home made

We were excited to try this place and had pretty high expectations. The food was great, but not amazing. Nothing to have to come back for. We were looking forward to the Son and Law Eggs after seeing them on MasterChef and reading all the good reviews. They were ok, loved the sauce, but they felt kind of soggy whereas I was expecting the outside to be a bit more crispy. Cocktails were delicious.
