Very busy on weekends' nights, but I can totally see why. So it's better to go for one of their $9 lunch dishes. This place might be one of the best bars in Melbourne. The yummy cocktails are pretty cheap considering the prices in the area and you can easily enjoy a few drinks without worrying about the price. Only fault is that the service as it can be a bit slow when the place is crowded
Approximate cost: $9
I had a different opinion to my husband for this place. Food was too average ,entertainment was not entertaining at all, It was pretty boring and the food didn't satisfy us at all. We had to find more dinner afterwards,,overall won't be returning. Very busy too
Never had a bad experience here. Been there regularly for meals, including a birthday party, been for breakfast and casual coffee, no problems at all. Found the staff same as just about everywhere! They have good and bad days, just like we do but I've always enjoyed their friendly nature, and never found service to be poor
Approximate cost: $22
A favourite of mine I love the food and the staff are so polite, would recommend to anyone for a meal, especially their pizza which is to die for, which I normally get and really love the simple ham and pineapple but i get bacon and garlic added too....great lunchtime deals as well
Approximate cost: $15
My hubby and I had a great time there, the atmosphere was really nice there, and quite romantic. Food was delicious, we had no complaints, and the chef even customized the share plate to want we wanted. Shisha at the end of the night really topped off a great experience. I believe the price tag is well justified here.
Approximate cost: $30
Yum! But more staff would be good for those busy times, your just so busy some warm weekend evenings! Large variety of ice cream flavours and gelato too, my whole family love to come here and we walk off our ice cream by going around albert park.
Approximate cost: $5
Food was amazing, staff were friendly and went out of their way to serve you and the views also amazing. Price was high but this is what you would expect from this sort of fine dining experience. If your after fine dining perfection then come here.
Taxi is located on the first floor of Transport Hotel

Kamel is very entertaining on busy nights. The food is an eclectic middle eastern mix with loads of great spices and tastes. It's a great place for vegetarians as there are loads of variety to choose from. the staff very friendly and more than willing to have a chat when they had the time. the drinks list was full of quality beers and wines
For where it is you would expect this place to be really expensive but it's not for around $20 you get a buffet menu so get to go up and choose what you want to eat and if you want more you just go up and get it. Some come with an empty tummy for a good feed.
Perfect for lunch or dinner, enjoy the teppanyaki station, salad bar, roast counter, dessert bar or open pastry kitchen. and they also provide unlimited drinks including coffee.
One of my favourite places when on Southbank
Approximate cost: $20
I loved this tram restaurant when hubby surprised me by taking me here for our last anniversary, not only do get an excellent meal but get to see the sights of Melbourne at the same time.
Delicious food which is a set menu but you get 5 courses if eating a late dinner.
Well worth coming here, for any occasion
