These guys have an amazing sense of humour, the rabbit trap for the complaints department indicated this! They helped me out with a sense of urgency at a time when they were very busy. I'll be back. PS. Does that bicycle with a mower on the front really work?

Off for our annual vaccination and as usual Gemma was really great with our dog. Andrew Byrne used to run this practice and it is great to see that Gemma is continuing a great standard of petcare.

We were a bit dissappointed to find Tamarind Thai Cuisine had replaced the previous P & L Kitchen which served Chinese and Thai food. We weren't dissapointed for long, the food was great, excellent coconut rice. One shortfall was that we spent $160 on takeaway and all we received was a complimentary bag of prawn crackers! Our guests loved the food and so did we, just a little bit expensive for Monbulk.

Going away for a camping weekend we needed to stock up onsome camping items. Goods totaled over $300. The eftpos system crashed and apparantly the staff at k-mart were not trained in what to do when the eftpos does not work. We kept getting told by staff that we had daily limits on our credit cards. Fact of the matter was that when eftpos is down the system limits the total amount of the transaction. I had to suggest to the staff that they split the sale into smaller amounts and the transactions should go through. 1 hour later we walked out after successfully paying. K-mart get your act together, contingency plan and staff training when eftpos is out would not go astray!

Decided to try their take-away for a change. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait for our meal but it was more like 25 mins.On the bright side the rainbow beef was great and dim sims really good. A bit pricey for a casual meal.

A surprising little find in amongst the desert of decent food/cafes in Upper Ferntree Gully. My partner had a black angus burger which was cooked to perfection, myself a vegie burger with beetroot relish. We will be back!

I haven't been there in a few years, usually I find Indian food a bit same same no matter what you order. Every dish was interesting and different and tasty! The service could have been a bit better, we think they were a bit too busy attending to the takeaway side of the business to offer prompt table service.

This is the second time I've been to see Jerome, in several years. After a car accident 6 years ago and now with tennis elbow.
Lovely staff and Jerome always works wonders with injuries! I'm rarely kept waiting in the cosy little waiting room.

FINALLY a Government department that gets that we have better time to spend than waiting in endless mindless queues wating to be served! I went there this morning, greeted by a friendly lady, given a ticket accrding to my appropriate need and sat down to wait the long wait...not here, I couldn't even finish a text message and my number got called, the place was packed but seriously efficiently run! Take note all other Government departments see how it is done!

The Eating House Decor is getting a bit old and tired, the floor needs repolishing and the light fittings need cleaning. I really miss a seafood chowder that they no longer have on the menu, it was to die for! However they have a varied menu and their beer battered chips are particularly yummy!
