Bought two sandwiches here today the ny one with tons of corned beef gruyere and saukraut & a chicken avo combo they Are huge and the price reflects this about $12 a sandwich! Only thing I was a tad annoyed about was the ny one was toasted and the meat heated up & I wasn't asked I would have preferred it cold

Approximate cost: $12

Same as the other reviewer - my plastic glasses arrived and the lense kept popping out of it. they allegedly 'fixed' them once but they were still really dodgy and after that they basically didn't look after me.

Been to this place numerous times for lunch and dinner. The ambiance is pretty meh but it does have a childrens indoor playground thing so that's a winner for us. Normal fair parmas, kievs, fish and chips etc. Food is okay $22 a meal. Bar staff are pretty grumpy, lady misheard me when i said chardonnay and gave me shiraz....when i told her she was wrong i was suprised I didn't get the drink thrown in my face. But other than that. ok. Well my fish was piping hot and my chips cold (as opposed to the chips on my mum and dad and hubby's plates being hot) but i was happy with that cause my 2yo was chomping at the bit to eat them so that was good! the place was a bit grubby with food still on the floor from previous (night's i assume) patrons which I thought was a bit rough....but other than that. Used the entertainment voucher so that was good.

Approximate cost: $22

Came here after a friend was telling us about a RockNRoll 50's diner that served beef and gravy rolls....couldn't see that on the menu, probably should have asked. But had a lamb burger instead and hubby had the steak sandwich with the lot. Both $9. This place is the first cafe in laurimar and always looked a little messy and milk bar ish with it's seating etc....now they have booths in it makes it a lot more alluring....there is i think 3 sets of one seater booths and a few big booths for larger groups and a table that would seat about 8. The staff are friendly they make fresh sandwiches too and you can get a beer here which is good. however my burger was not that amazing...just like something i could make at home...but they were a good size and filling. Large chips are $5 from memory and you can pick up a newspaper here...so it's still keeping that milk bar atmosphere but i like whtat they are trying to do getting the 50's american diner feel - good idea! You can get a parma here too...

I'm a bit of an expert (in the words of daddy pig) at the ole photobook compilation...and I bought an offer for a photobook on one of the websites...when i went to do it I was shocked at how old the software they were using was. It was so not user friendly and had many gliches in it including when you resized photos and then moved them around ti would leave white border bits where you had cropped it which i didn't know whether would come out during printing. I soon learnt not to just buy any deal and that only the company with the latest Imagine software (they all seem to use the same software just different versions) was the best. To get a professional finish to your book using this software would be impossible. I bought one with another large company, BigW and they weren't as bad but still not as great as Snapfish. I ended up getting a refund with this company as the software wasn't fit for purpose.

This place is the epitome of my youth. Nothing better than coming here on a hot melbourne saturday night, fighting through the 4 deep at the counter to shout your order of yummy creamy italian ice cream then eating it in the park..it's just exhilirating and the best way to end a dinner in lygon st. sooo many flavours to choose from. all your usual ferrero and baileys etc.

Love this place, frequented here with my colleagues when we had our office nearby. It has a great family homey pizzeria atmosphere, the staff are friendly and they introduced me to calzone! how delicious!

Came to the Queens Road City Grill for a goodbye lunch. The food was tasty and served in the general grill way. Had the mushrooms and fetta for entree....a bit weird actually - piping hot that I couldn't eat it for fifteen minutes...and then very very very salty....the first few mouthfuls were nice but soon tired of the flavour and it seemed huge! wished I'd shared it with someone. Had the salmon for main it was nice enough. Interesting place obviously good for your blokey bloke.

I go here because I have the 20% off entertainment book coupon....i'm always happy with the job they do. There is a car park for 10mins for their customers right outside the door which i'm rapt about...3 suits normally $49 but i got it for $39 with my coupon. so $16.50 each....not terribly cheap but happy with the job
