Came to the Queens Road City Grill for a goodbye lunch. The food was tasty and served in the general grill way. Had the mushrooms and fetta for entree....a bit weird actually - piping hot that I couldn't eat it for fifteen minutes...and then very very very salty....the first few mouthfuls were nice but soon tired of the flavour and it seemed huge! wished I'd shared it with someone. Had the salmon for main it was nice enough. Interesting place obviously good for your blokey bloke.

ABSOLUTELY delicious porterhouse steak - good quality of steak (It is cooked to perfection) - The chips was yum. Staff were wonderful - Service was excellent. Highly recommended if you want quality steak. Will definitely be back.

A place I would visit often just for the food. The angus ribs are really nice and slide off the bone. There are a variety of sauces to choose from and all taste good. Chips are excellent although salads could be a little more impressive. Service is good and there is pay parking just out front of the venue.

Approximate cost: $25-$45

I had an eye fillet with chips. The steak was superb and the mushroom sauce was to die for. Chips were crispy and golden. Agree that the decor is a little lacklustre, a bit dark for my liking.

Approximate cost: $33

Decided to try the steaks here as they were in the Entertainment Book giving me 25% off. The steaks were reasonable good(not the best but OK). My Porterhouse steak was cooked pretty good(medium rare)...but the texture of the meat just didn't seem quite right. The chips were not bad(pretty much standard chips). For sauces i highly recommend the MonkeyGland sauce(which is actually a BBQ type sauce).

Steak was good but not excellent, and nothing particularly exciting.
Service was attentive.
Prices were average. $31.50 for a scotch fillet (200g).
Room decor was a little lacking; if you look up you can see pipes running about the ceiling... which is a little unnerving.

Approximate cost: $30
