This review is for Wally's Carpet Cleaning, Sydney NSW

I booked Wally's to clean my carpets after reading some great reviews here... excellent service and the carpets have come up like (nearly!) new. Got some hard to remove stains out. I'm really impressed!

Good, clean well-appointed room in a location ideally suited for business. What I love about country hotels (apart from the friendliness!) is that there is actually space in the bathroom cabinet to put toiletries. What a unique idea! The staff were very helpful and the restaurant serves a nice dinner with a good selection of wines, should one need that after a long day's travel. Complimentary newspaper, parking onsite, wireless connectivity. Oh yes, country hotel rooms are well lit, because not everyone likes having to find one's way in the dark.

Stayed here recently and found this to be a great hotel. I am generally not a fan of the 'chain' hotel variety but the staff here are wonderful. Brilliant location - just make sure to book a room on an upper floor 'cos it's in the heart of the Cross so yes, it gets a little noisy around 2am! Walking distance to great cafes etc.

This review is for Le Bergerac, Melbourne VIC

verified email - 10 Jul 2013

I was SO disappointed when I visited Le Bergerac last week! I'd often visit here on past trips to Melbourne but the quality and presentation of the food has really declined. My main course was a mess... mashed potato covered the plate, the pate which was supposed to 'top' the beef was a thin slice of puree which just melted into the mess. Lord only knows the age of bread round in the onion soup. Way overpriced for a boring, bland and disappointing dinner. Mon Dieu!!

The best thing about this hotel is its very convenient location, walking distance to Melbourne CBD, restaurants etc. The reception staff are also very helpful and friendly. The room was disappointing though.. bathroom is tiny (retro-fitted as the hotel is part of an office block), barely any water pressure and you have to open the sliding door to dry yourself! I had to turn off the aircon to stop it dripping all over the carpet. Don't know when the aircon was last cleaned but it was filthy. The buffet breakfast would have been good value at less than $20 - had it not been cold. Overall, not a fan and won't be back.

The staff at this beauty spa are wonderful and treat their clients so professionally. They take their time to explain everything and nothing is ever rushed. I have had facials, IPL, pedicures and have been very happy every time. Not only are all the staff very professional but the salon is always immaculate. I would be very happy to recommend to anyone. They do great gift vouchers and packages also.

This review is for Rapa Japanese & Korean Restaurant, Wahroonga NSW

Rapa is a good local option for takeaway; the prices are on the high side but all sushi is made fresh to order. Nice choices of teriyaki, bento etc. They always give a 'free' extra with takeaway. Quick service; most orders ready to go in 10 - 15 mins.

The coffee is OK; you come here for the best baguettes you will find on the north shore. The sausage and spinach rolls are great. Seating is available outside if you don't mind sharing with highway noise and smokers.

This review is for Lee Massage & Acupuncture, Campbelltown NSW

I am normally very wary of trying massage places in shopping centres, but today I had to stop off in Campbelltown on a long drive back to Sydney. I had a sore neck and this place looked very clean and professional so though 'what the heck'. I am so pleased I popped in. I regret that I didn't get the name of the masseuse because she did an absolutely fantastic neck and shoulder massage, sometimes they can be really rough but although this was a deep massage it didn't hurt, my neck just felt great afterwards. If I am in the area I will definitely go again.

Not the cheapest pizza takeaway you'll ever have, but a great selection and the best tasting pizzas. Friday and Saturday nights may see you waiting for some time. They do home delivery within the local area for orders over $20. Also do salads and gelato. Gluten free bases available also. The best (IMHO) are the chicken and seafood varieties.

Approximate cost: $16 - $19
