I had lunch at Kura Kura for the first time. This place is pretty busy on the weekends and seating was only available downstairs which was quiet crowded.
I had the Unagi Don (grilled Eel with eggs and rice), which was very nice and so filling and worth coming back for. The Takoyaki was also delicious. With your meal, you are given a bowl of Miso soup which was overall salty for my taste.

This review is for Shikumen, Cabramatta NSW

Shikumen is a Shanghai Chinese restaurant which recently opened at Cabramatta. This was my first time at this resturant and we ordered Xiao Long Bao (steamed port dumplings with soup inside), chive pockets and pork wrappers.
I found the Xiao Long Bao slightly lacking of flavour and they got cold pretty quickly. The Chive pockets were quiet nice and crispy. The pork wrappers was a dish that included stir fried pork (which was quiet salty), lettuce and pancake wrappers which allowed you to make into a little parcel.
Overall the meal was ok, but not amazing as some other places I have been to.

I've been to PappaRich a couple of times and love it. They have great service and I just love the self ordering system where you can order your food by writing down what you want and putting in the order when your ready.

They have the most delicious Malaysian food. A must try is the Biryani rice with red chicken ans sambal prawns, the beef rengdang, roti and to wash it all down a nice glass of ice Teh Tarik (Malaysian Ice tea).

This was my 1st time having my haircut at IYouth and the experience was very pleasant. The ladies there were very nice and gave me good opinions. Although my haircut wasn't exactly like the style I had chosen, but it was still very nice.
I am happy to come back here and try out some of their other beauty products/ therapies.

This review is for Steak On The Rocks, Canley Heights NSW

Tried Steaks on the Rocks for the first time for the novelty of cooking my steak on a slab of rock. My steak came with some chips and salad, which was pretty average. I did find the rock plate extremely hot, so if you like your steaks rare or medium rare, then you will need to eat fast.

This review is for Broken Rice Vietnamese Restaurant, Canley Heights NSW

verified email - 21 Feb 2015

Broken Rice is a nice clean and simple Vietnamese Restaurant and as the name of this restaurant states, the house dish is the broken rice with pork chops, steamed mince and egg loaf and shredded pork, which is delicious. As side from the house dish, I've tried the special rice noodles with BBQ pork, spring rolls and salad which was also very good and a very large serving.

This review is for Soho Steak & Asian Kitchen, Fairfield NSW

Soho is located within the Cambridge Tavern and serves delicious steak to order and they are large servings which comes with chips & salads. If your not a steak person, then you can also order pork or lamb chops, fish, chicken parmigiana or a number of Asian stir fries. A side from the steaks, I have tried their Singapore noodles and their crispy fried chicken with fried rice.
You will definitely get value for a very reasonable price.

This review is for Din Tai Fung, Sydney NSW

verified email - 22 Jan 2015

I tried Din Tai Fung for the first time and was quiet pleased with the food they served. I tried the Braised Beef Noodle Soup which was really flavoursome and I would definitely come back here just for this dish. I also had the Crab meat & Roe with pork dumplings which tasted ok, but I didn't like the thickness of the dumpling skin that much.

This review is for Xuan Huang Vietnamese Restaurant, Canley Heights NSW

verified email - 04 Jan 2015

Xuan Huang serves a number of Vietnamese dishes that is not found in a normal Vietnamese restaurant. During the morning and afternoon they have a limited 12 dishes which you can choose from, which was disappointing as I wanted to try some of their more interesting dishes, which is only available after 5pm.

So for lunch I had cold rice noodles with stir fried beef and 2 delicious deep fried prawn balls which had a quail's egg inside and shaped as a little chick and mixed with a fish sauce vinaigrette.
My friend ordered their house speciality of Pho Kho (which was recommened by the waiter) which was a minced beef and cooked beef noodle with dried rice noodle and the cold soup was served in a separate bowl. Unfortunately, this Pho had an unusual taste and the rice noodles was still hard. I recommend sticking to the traditional beef Pho.

This review is for THE COFFEE EMPORIUM, North Ryde NSW

It was first time at this Cafe and it was quiet good. The Cappuccino was nice but the iced Mocha had room for improvements as it just tasted a little flat. I also tried the berry cheesecake which was divine and a must taste for anyone who drops into this cafe.
