I've recently discovered Cafe Marco and can certainly say this place is a hidden gem. Its a family run business that is very homely presented. The hostess/waitress is very warm and friendly and the wife of the owner/chef.
I've tried their Big breakfast which is loaded with eggs (scrambled/sunny side up), hash brown, fried tomato, bacon, sausage & toast. Their Spaghetti De Marco is fabulous and is service with large prawns and a tomato sauce base. I've also tried their spaghetti carbonara and chicken parmigiana.
This cafe is a must try for some good value delicious food.

This is one of my favourite Chinese restaurant, which offers delicious home style food. You will find that most of the patrons here are older Chinese people and families, so you know that the Chinese food her must be good. The service is good and the serving is generous. I've tried the Mongolian beef & lamb served on a sizzling hot plate, which is one of the best I've had. Their fried rice and stir fried noodles are flavoursome.
I've been to My Chinese kitchen a few times and will be back to try out many more of their dishes.

Cam here for a very late dinner for the 1st time and was pretty happy with the quality of the food and service. We had the chicken & Chinese mushroom hot pot, which was amazingly fragrant and delicious as well as a pork & preserved vegetable fried rice, which was also pretty good.
The waitress was very polite and the service was good and fast. I'd definitely come back and try some more dishes.

This is one of my new favourite Japanese restaurant. I just love the large sashimi platter, Tako (Octopus) wasabi, mixed (salmon & kingfish) carppaccio, pork katsu & teriyaki chicken bento box. Everything was so delicious and a good serving.
I'm definitely coming back to try some of their other dishes & their Ramen.

This review is for Grand Chateau, Canley Heights NSW

Had a very late Yum Cha for the very 1st time at Grand Chateau. I wasn't sure about Grand Chateau's quality as I didn't see many reviews, but I was very surprised. Since I had yum cha about 3pm, I wasn't expecting much variety, but was happy with the quality of the prawn dumplings (Har Gow), Siu Mai, chicken feet, prawn & chive dumplings & egg tarts).
I would go back h ere for yum cha & try out their dinner menu

This review is for XS Espresso, Wetherill Park NSW

verified email - 28 Dec 2015

It was my first time at XS Espresso & I was overly impressed. The place was pack and service was slow. There seemed to be enough to staff in the front of house and people need to be seated when there's tables available. When we were finally seated & ordered our food, it wasn't until an hour before we got our meals. There were a fair number of people at tables & very little food being severed & there seemed to be no urgency in the kitchen. Finally after an our of waiting we finally got our burger and toast with eggs & avocado. The food was average & the toast was even burnt.
I don’t think I will be coming back here again

This review is for Mrs Mi, Chatswood NSW

verified email - 03 Oct 2015

Mrs Mi serves a Shanxi-style cooking, which is delicious and they even have a robotic chef which makes shaved noodles. This was our first time here and we ordered crab dumplings wrapped with beetroot dough, braised pork and preserved vegetable with rice, braised beef tendons and Taiwanese onion pancake. They were all delicious and we will be back to try more of Mrs Mi's food

This review is for Asahiya, Burwood NSW

We stumbled onto Asahiya Japanese restaurant and decided to go in for dinner. Asahiya has a warm, clean and comfortable feeling. We tried the Takoyaki, fried Pork Belly Kimchi with rice, which was slightly soar than spicy and Grilled Eel with rice.
Overall, we had a very nice meal and the service was great. We will be coming back here to try out some more of Asahiya's dishes.

This review is for Sydney Dumpling King, Burwood NSW

verified email - 21 Jul 2015

A friend recommended us to the Dumpling King and so we came to try it and were not disappointed. This place is very popular with a regular flow of people coming in for dumpling. We had the 20 mix dumplings which gave us a wide variety of fillings. We had the dumplings fried, but should have just had them boiled. We also had the Taiwanese beef noodles, which was nice but a very large serving.
I'm definitely coming back here for more dumplings.

This review is for The Emporium, Parramatta NSW

verified email - 11 Jul 2015

The Emporium has recently opened in Parramatta, serving modern Australian & Mediterranean food. The décor is very comfy & warm, with the options of indoor and outdoor seating.
The food can only be described as delicious and moreish. For brunch, we had baked eggs and wild mushroom tortellini. I found the baked eggs (with chorizo and cannellini beans) slightly sweet and required more seasoning. The wild mushroom tortellini was absolutely yummy and I wanted more.
I'm definitely coming back here to try out their other dishes.
