Beautiful Paterson House offers the ideal location for a wedding. Both ceremony and reception and it's an award winning venue located in the Hunter Valley. We were here last night for a friends ceremony and reception dinner. This place is stunning!

We dined on delicious canapes of wontons, fresh shucked oysters, arancini balls and meatballs. Entrees were salt and pepper crumbed squid with a lovely cabbage dresssing, pork belly was crispy and well seasoned with apple sauce. Mains were duck l'orange or grilled barramundi with a crispy skin and seasoned rocket! Food was delicious and hearty!

Staff were attentive to all guests and they took a liking to my kids, which made for an enjoyable evening!

Would happily dine here again and recommend this place to everyone! Fantastic!

This review is for Gwen's Fashion, Cabramatta NSW

Gwen's Fashion is a bargain hunter's find in Cabramatta with current on trend ladies fashion clothing at discount prices! I was here today with a friend and we got thongs for $2, leggings for $5 and tops for $10. So cheap!

The only downside is because of the bargain prices , it gets alot of walk in's and its quite hard to move around the store. The change room is basically a whole in the wall divided by two seperate curtains, very cramped and you often have to wait for a few minutes in order to try on your clothing of choice!

Other then that great clothing at bargain prices! Will come again!

This review is for Kim Phu Yum Cha, Cabramatta NSW

This is a great Yum Cha Restaurant we like to go with my parents whilst in Cabramatta. I always find the staff attentive, food is delicious and clean and readily available to the table rather quickly , which is great when you have hungry kids!

We love the prawn noodles with fresh prawns inside served with soy sauce, pork dim sims, seafood roll, steamed asian greens just to name a few. They had a special when we were here of sweet tofu pudding for $1 ( which is an asian sweet soup almost) which my Mum adores! Food is really tasty and my kids adore the mango pancakes!

The atmosphere can be quite noisy at times especially during peak times like lunch and on the weekends. I recommends you try and come earlier to ensure seating and minimal wait times. Great place for family Yum Cha!

Just like it's other name sakes in Cabramatta and Canley Heights, Bau Truong is a place for great Vietnamese food. We were here with a few friends to celebrate a birthday and we ordered a few dishes to share - crispy spring rolls with pork and taro filling, golden soft shell crab with a tamarind dressing/ glaze, minced beef and fresh herbs served on betel leaf, tender beef cubes on pepper with watercress, braised pork belly with pickled vegies, steamed asian greens, steamed rice and some stir fried noodles with beef!

Food was fresh and tasty, service was quick. Great meal out, would come again!

This review is for Dong Ba, Bankstown NSW

I love coming to Bankstown to eat with friends regularly, they have an array of cuisine's to choose from and it's a great shopping/ food destination within driving distance!

Dong Ba ( also in Cabramatta) is a Vietnamese Restuarant that offer great dishes at cheap as chip prices. I love the Com Dam Dac Biet for about $!! its basically " special broken rice with pork chops and a runny egg on top, but I always ask them to cook my egg as not a fan of them runny! The pork chops are marinated with lemongrass and pan fried to perfection . Comes accompanied with a side broth soup and sauce for the dish. You just spoon the sauce over your rice and eat all together. Delicious and fresh!

Great place for lunch and great value as well, gets quite busy during lunch times but will happily eat here again!

This review is for Kazbah Balmain, Balmain NSW

Just like it's name sakes at Top Ryde and Darling Harbour, Kazbah is known for great middle eastern food and ambience. I love coming for breakfast with the familyon the weekend. Eggs benedict with hollandaise is a fave of mine here, it comes with smoked salmon, baby spinach, ham and bacon for about $18. Delish but sauce is extra for $3. The breakfast tagine of lamb mince , spinach, roast capsicum, roast tomato, caramelised onion, fetta, eggs and comes with turkish bread or lebanese bread for $22.50 is a fave of Hubby's. Comes served on a large wooden board with plenty of bread to dip into the sauce. I'll order turkish bread with their home made jam for $4.50 for the kids. Washed down with two cappuccino's for $4 each ,two strawberry smoothies for $7 each and two glasses of water and there is breakfast done and dusted.

Food is always enjoyable, staff are friendly, we always leave with full bellies. Great place to dine!

This review is for UE Chinese Resturant, Cabramatta NSW

UE Chinese Restaurant can be quite tricky to find. You basically have to enter down a long dirty, passageway until you made your way to the end and turn right and enter through the doorway. Once inside I was suprised how busy this little Restaurant can be.

I came with Mum here the other day and as she orders us bowls of "Phnom penh noodles". They didn't take long to arrive and the thing rice noodles were served with garlic chives, pork mince, spring onions and comes served with pork slices. I opted for no pork stomach or blood jelly( as it's often served with). Not a fan of those! Mixed in with the complimentary fresh chiili, bean sprouts and lemon- it was a nice and tasty dish!

Overall I enjoyed the dish, service was quick and might return to try wonton noodles that I seen the lady seated next to me eating. They looked good!

This review is for Pho 88, Newtown NSW

verified email - 21 Feb 2014

Pho 88 is a simple Restaurant that offers generous servings of my favourite Vietnamese noodle soup " pho"! Inside you will notice the bright red walls and simple decor, with fresh coconuts located inside the display cabinets.

Staff were smiling and welcoming once we stepped inside and were handed menu's. We ordered the small serving of pho for $9.50, crispy skin chicken with noodles for $12 for the kids to share and a small serve of wonton pho noodles for $10.50. Food doesn't take long to come out and I'm pleasantly suprised at how generous they are with the sliced beef in the pho and a decent amount of noodles. Kids liked the crispy chicken ( they love anything with chicken really) and the wontons were generous too.

Overall a great place for lunch, great pho and pleasant staff. Would dine again ,when in the area next!

Approximate cost: $9.50

This review is for Doughbox Diner, Enmore NSW

verified email - 21 Feb 2014

Doughbox Diner is a funky and retro/ vintage diner and it's not hard to notice with the bright pink signage and 1950's glam decor! While the place isn't overly big, inside the decor and rock and roll memorabilia on the walls and bright red booths make it a fun place to dine!

They are famous for their " crepe cones" . I love the Supreme Crepe cone for $11 which comes with pepperoni. mushrooms, cabanossi, pineapple, olives, cheese and spanish onions all wrapped in a delicious cone! The beef master and the Cheesy Chorizo one's are also quite tasty too! Team that with a thickshake for $8 and you have an instant lunch right there!

If savoury crepes aren't your thing - there are also sweet crpe options, waffles, sundaes, ice- creams and coffee and tea available!

Staff are friendly, decor is fun and great to look at whilst dining inside the comfy red booths and I love the pink uniform worn by staff! This place is hard to miss, a great place to dine. Would happily return!

This review is for Kimmy's Vietnamese Cusine, Cabramatta NSW

verified email - 18 Feb 2014

Dined at Kimmy's a few weeks ago with my Mum. It's a simple Vietnamese Restaurant and decor is plain and simple as well. The menu is writen in Vietnamese and they have english as well. Typical of any Vietnamese Resturant they have soups, noodles and noodle dishes, Vietnamese Crepes, grilled chicken etc on the menu.

I had the wonton with egg noodle soup for $8.50 and my Mum had the crispy chicken with egg noodle soup for $9. Both meals took about 15 minutes to arrive to the table, they smelt fresh and looked tasty. Soup was well seasoned and was a nice broth, the pork wontons were ok, bit bland but tasted better once it was dipped into chiili sauce. My mum said the crispy chicken was much better at Tan Viet, and I took a bite and had to agree with her.

Foodwise I thought it was pretty average and prices were reasonable. Probably wouldn't eat here again!

Approximate cost: $8.50
