This place is nice - Bright and cheerful interior and an interesting looking menu. I want to love it for those reasons but the food just hasn't been amazing. Don't get me wrong , its lovely but there are too many amazing places to eat brekkie out in Melbourne and I probably wouldn't go back here. Coffee was fine - Milk was a bit hot in my latte but drinkable. If I was local I might go back....

Yongs is a vegan/vegetarian paradise. There can be a wait for a table - Often I have put my name down and been rung half an hour later, especially Friday Saturday nights .... BUT with so many great places to have a drink beforehand this has never been a problem. What I love about Yongs is you can take anyone there and they will be in for a one of a kind experience that they'll love. Raw Pad Thai is my fave thing on the menu - The noodles are made from zuchini and the sauce is a spicy cashew cream. Delicious and fresh! My dad swears by the dragon bowl - A mixture of yummy healthy tofu , veg , miso and rice. Desserts are a MUST here and won't disappoint. Service can be a bit slow but staff are always so lovely and keen to keep everyone happy and having a good time.

This review is for Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, Melbourne VIC

Lush is AMAZING> ethical , sustainable , natural products for your face and body at a reasonable price. The other reviews mention price.... I think the price reflects quality though. If you are looking at a beautiful handmade 150g bar of soap it might cost you between $7-10. Of course more than a bar of palmolive from woolies.... If you want something a little more special than the mass produced bath/body you find elsewhere lush is your place.
The new range of perfumes is gorgeous. Potent , so you only need a drop - they smell divine and last forever. This store also has very friendly staff. My bath and body go to !

Great service at this Salvos. Upon entry someone will always greet you and let you know the specials of that week. Layout is well arranged and it's easy to navigate the racks and zones. It's one of the larger Salvos you'll visit which is perfect as you'll never leave empty handed

BEST COFFEE . coffee coffee coffee. The boys here live and breathe it. If you feel like something other than coffee or more of a brunch vibe probably best to try one of the many other cafes in the area. If you feel like amazing coffee, each one made thoughtfully with a lot of love ..... go to Everyday. They have a cult following for a reason

Approximate cost: $4

How good is Bikram yoga in the winter!. I completed the 7 day $19 offer some months ago now and have attended this studio several times when in Melbourne. The studio is a really lovely large size but I agree, it can get a little crowded. Great location... not much in the way of parking on Johnston st though. Give it a go, It's a nice change from regular yoga.

This review is for Barry, Northcote VIC

I have been to Barry a few times. Its is the perfect spot to bring visitors for brunch and it never fails to impress. The building itself is gorgeous , very industrial new york loft. Menu is spot on - seasonal , fresh and full of healthy options. The super salads at lunch are jam packed full of goodness. You feel nourished looking at them .
Brekkie specials are always changing and feature something interesting.
Try the blended drinks - Green or banana but with a twist.
Coffee is legendary also . This review is pretty positive , but I can't really fault Barry. Check it out .

This review is for Terra Madre, Northcote VIC

Awesome , jam packed health food shop. Every time I visit I notice a new little corner I missed. Filled to the brim with every organic or healthy treat your heart desires, Terra Madre has become a big part of my shopping life.
The Bulk food section is great . Bang on prices. (Cheapest coconut oil in town $10 per kg!!). Fresh produce can be a bit above average but if you shop seasonally you'll come under budget.
Great dairy range - Lots of Coyo - important and an comprehensive freezer section.
OH AND lots of chocolate . YUM - Try it out - you'll love it
Best staff ever too

This review is for Trippy Taco, Fitzroy VIC

verified email - 22 Jul 2014

Great , Solid Vegan / Vego / everyone friendly food. I wouldn't say it's authentic but its a good happy medium for me.

Trippy Taco is tiny .... Battle for a spot and settle in for some warming and hearty Tacos or nachos. I've not seen prices go up in years which is rare.
Love this cute , bright and happy little local

This review is for Soulfood Cafe, Fitzroy VIC

verified email - 22 Jul 2014

This place is not great and I will never go back. Service is fine, menu is fine, dining room is dated... but fine.... BUT everything about this place lacks SOUL . For a place named soul food it is perplexing. Food is bland and boring . Yes- you can get GF, Vegan , Vego , Corn Free , Soy Free ... the list goes on but Melbourne is a modern place and you can get that at nearly every cafe nowdays. Perhaps this cafe had a heyday and was once really vibey , but paying good money for boring food is a bit depressing on one of the BEST foodie streets in Melbourne.
