Yummy and healthy vegetarian restaurant, very popular cafe.
I had the Japanese curry and it was delicious. The mock beef tastes just like beef.
Amazing vegan friendly food. Definitely on the expensive side. Simple interior. Good food. Good service. Worth a visit.
I wish this was over my side of town! The food was sensational. I recommend the date tea yumyumyum. I had the rawsagne I had to try it and that was super delicious. Cashew cheese. This place is impressive will be going back
Yongs is a vegan/vegetarian paradise. There can be a wait for a table - Often I have put my name down and been rung half an hour later, especially Friday Saturday nights .... BUT with so many great places to have a drink beforehand this has never been a problem. What I love about Yongs is you can take anyone there and they will be in for a one of a kind experience that they'll love. Raw Pad Thai is my fave thing on the menu - The noodles are made from zuchini and the sauce is a spicy cashew cream. Delicious and fresh! My dad swears by the dragon bowl - A mixture of yummy healthy tofu , veg , miso and rice. Desserts are a MUST here and won't disappoint. Service can be a bit slow but staff are always so lovely and keen to keep everyone happy and having a good time.
Vegetables (raw vegetables at that, not coated in butter or duck fat) never tasted so good....
The options on the menu at Yong Green always amaze me. They sound so wholesome, interesting and come out looking amazing and taste even better.
I have had things such as the rawsagna (raw lasagne), a buckwheat version of the traditional vietnamese ricepaper rolls, raw pecan pie and lemon cheesecake.
They also do cooked food, if that suits you.
Delicious would be my last word. PS: great value.
very polite service. food was quick (2pm though). lovely food! watermelon lemon drink was really nice! looking forward to coming back to try out a few other things!
The amazing healthy vegie food that taste great. I have been here 6 times so far. Large choice from menu so have not had same thing twice and still have more to choose from. I find the service is bit slow and if it is really busy be prepared to wait for your table service but it is worth the wait. I did go during peak lunch time during the week and waited half an hour from when i got seated. If it was not so good I would have left. The chocolate mousse made from avocado is so dence and rich. I love the chickpea wrap it is bursting with flavour. Would definetly try that again.
Approximate cost: $17
I know this restaurant is because one of my friends is Vego.. she introduced me this place and asked me to accompany her for lunch .. So, i have tried their food. I could say that their food is really GOOD! their substitute meats are incredibly soft and tasty.. Lovely atmosphere.. Great service .. Value for money too .. Must try!
I had the Japanese curry and found that it had too much sauce and not enough veggies. It tasted nice but it was a bit gloopy with all that sauce. The chocolate cheese cake was simply divine. Many of their other dishes looked lovely
Approximate cost: $varies
