Heart and Halo is a tiny little vegetarian restaurant tucked behind the main street. You can choose your plate size and fro there pick a few dishes you would like to try. There is always a dahl or a curry , perhaps a rice dish , and a range of cold salads. It is GREAT value. You can have a lot of quality food for $10 but it is lacking in flavour. A few times I've had the curry of the day and thought it was a bit dull. The salads are yummy and always fresh. There is also a great little range of treats (on the healthy side) and drinks. Perfect for a quick healthy lunch break of casual dinner

Chosen Bean = The only place I go for coffee in the area. Every coffee is consistently great and the baristas obviously take great care with every order. What a little gem to find hidden in the outer eastern suburbs. My family live out this way and I look forward to popping into Chosen Bean for a cuppa.

Wow , I love the food here. Beautiful, rustic (but formal if that works) and thoughtful. I like that the menu is short and seasonal. You know that your going to eat the very best of whats in season. Winter is a treat . perfect carrots and yummy mushrooms. I love the wine list here. A great range of reds. Great building and ambiance with candles lit .... its romantic !. Great for date night or girls catch up. Love it

Kappaya is consistently awesome. Such yummy thoughtfully made coffee. You can see the barista takes care with each and every one. Perfect little Bento choices and great miso. The Green tea mousse is worth travelling for and teamed with the brown rice tea - you've got a perfect afternoon tea. Such warm friendly staff too and a great fit out.

I have seen Charlotte Ingram on a few occasions over the last year and can only say what great experiences I have had. She made me feel instantly at ease and gives the most perfect massages tailored to your needs on the day. Charlotte is both professional and caring and goes above and beyond her duty of care.

The one and only coffee bar in Hervey Bay and what a treat it is. Yummy , perfect , quality coffee made however you like it. ALL the baristas are well trained and love there jobs and that is reflected in the coffee. They also offer snacks on the run , a small treat selection and some yummy looking cold blended drinks... perfect for hot hervey bay days. Tiny little hole in the wall ... easy to miss it ... but once you find it you'll crave more!

By far the best place to eat if you live in or are visiting Hervey Bay. Delicious local and seasonal food in a warm ambiant setting. I love the high ceiling of the dining room ... It has a 5 star balinese vibe. The food is designed to share and has good options for large and small groups. I love trying bits and pieces of everything and of course leaving room for the awesome desserts. The banana split is to die for. Great wine list, lots of beautiful Australian choices too. Staff are friendly and professional. The perfect night out in my book!!!

Farmer Charlies is a great local Fruit and Veg barn. You can buy pretty much anything you need and for a good price. If you shop seasonally you can save a lot here , for example last week whole cabbages were $1 . If you're looking out of season the prices are the same as coles or woolies. Down the back of the shop they have a fresh food discount area where everything is pretty much $1. There is a good range of nuts and seeds, dairy , gf and a freezer section. Staff are friendly and line move quick

Town is divided into 2 distinct dining areas - Uptown , which is the upstairs more formal dining and function room and - Downtown, a more casual cafe style bistro (downstairs). My review is of my experience at Uptown. AMAZING! I went to Uptown with my partner for my 25th birthday hoping for a romantic night out filled with beautiful food and wine... and ... I got that and more. The food in this hidden gem is to die for. 6 courses of local, seasonal and thoughtful food and the desserts I cant even begin to describe. Everything was divine. Price was a perfect reflection of the quality and the service was immaculate. The dining room looks like it could use a little love but is still warm and intimate. A must visit if you're in the area !

This is the most beautiful clothing and home-wears store. Luxe, bohemian style in quality fabrics and muted tones. Not the store if you're on a budget but if you need amazing wardrobe staples or a discerning gift, Island Luxe is your place. Top end designer brands mixed with a local collection means your always leave store with a new treasured item. My only criticism is that they could have a bigger price point variation as most items are above my budget.
