I could not have been happier with my visit this week to Vanilah. Rebecca listened to my concerns regarding a current botched hair job 5 months earlier (I had not worn my hair down since) and came up with a color and cut plan. I thought I would be travelling back to Melbourne to get my hair cut every time. I'm thrilled that I have found my hairdresser! The salon is lovely and the all the girls are genuinely friendly and professional. Thanks Vanilah!

I was searching online for a hairdresser as i had a family wedding coming up. I went to Vanilah for a hair freshen up and new style. The lady i dealt with was great. She was polite and took her time to say what would and wouldnt work for my style of face and explained how this style would be great for a wedding. I couldnt believe a hairdresser would take their time to explain such things. I would highly recommend this place and wish there was a higher star rating system so i could give them more stars.

Rebecca and Michelle work so well together and it is great to see friendly banter happening all the time. Refreshing from gossiping salons normally. I looked online for a hairdresser in Ballarat, and found your reviews, after not liking two others I tried, I decided Vanilah was the one for me. Phoned them and spoke to Michelle, who was so helpful. I was travelling from the Hunter Valley in NSW to my niece's wedding., so it was an important appointment for me at the hairdressers for the wedding. I had a wash and blow wave. I had the most excellent personal service, they thought of everything. Michelle, Emily, and Bronwyn all assisted, and Emily even fitted my fascinator for me as well. I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone, absolutely., thank you girls you made my day.

i would have to say this would be one of the best salons in Ballarat the team at vanilla is so friendly and very welcoming. The salon and is amazing and the first time i walked it, it smelt amazing! and not of that yucky hairdresser smell in most salons.

I just received two more compliments on my hair style and colour today two weeks after my first visit to Vanilah. Thanks to Zoey who just seemed to know what I wanted and what would suit me. Zoey is a skilled cutter/stylist and I think a bit of a perfectionist. I enjoyed my visit to Vanilah it was very relaxing, laid back, friendly staff and nice bag of goodies to take home to boot. I will go back and would highly recommend Zoey.

First Impression:I was greeted by Michelle, she made me feel very comfortable.Having moved from Melbourne and feeling a bit lost I explained to her what I wanted.I had been with my previous hairdresser for quite sometime and wanted to a salon without a lot of fuss.
Michelle made the appointment for the following week with Rebecca.
The whole experience was very professional from the time I met Michelle and to when I sat in the chair with Rebecca.
Rebecca listened to what I wanted, when finished I walked out with the cut that I was more than happy with.
No hesitation in returning to Vanilha Thank you.

Really happy with my experience today Rebecca was wonderful and am so happy with my cut, certainly happy enough to finally break the ties with my Melbourne hairdresser. Rebecca even went the extra mile and bought a jigsaw puzzle to keep my son occupied whilst i got my haircut done which is really impressive and very appreciated. I also got my sons haircut and it looks great

i went to Vanilla after different salon destroyed my hair. The other salon died my roots bright red by mistake and then painted black to try and cover it, i wanted my usual dark blonde and left with chestnut hair, unhappy and $200 poorer. The girls in Vanilla not only fixed my hair but made a plan to help my hair to recover in the coming weeks. It was a massive job and they did such an amazing job it made me feel soooo much better and now 2 more visits later i am loving it! i have had my hair done by the beautiful Emily and Michelle and WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE!! They have great service, very reasonable prices and best of all they are honest :)

I was really happy with the results of what i had done, but a bit disappointed that i was quoted one thing and had to pay sooo much more, for such a simple service.
