The delivery was well organised and gave me plenty of time to meet the drivers. I was kept well informed all the way through the event. It was all set up and dismantled i didn't have to do a thing. I wouldn't recommend Passiontails. I booked a jukebox with karaoke, lights and a smoke machine for my birthday party 2 weeks in advance, and as the website stated the equipment would be delivered a few hours before the party, I expected it to arrive on Saturday. I was therefore shocked when I received a text message on Thursday, saying the equipment would be delivered the next day. I work full time at a very demanding job, and cannot simply take a day off with less than 24 hours notice. I called up Passiontails, and they said they only deliver on weekdays. This can't be true, as the website says equipment is delivered a few hours before the party, and I imagine most people have parties on the weekend. In addition, why give less than 24 hours notice to get time off work, when I booked 2 weeks in advance? They didn't apologise once over the phone. I submitted a complaint online, and then they called me to apologise, and said they'd see what they could do about reimbursing me for the inconvenience. They never reimbursed me. I only just managed to get the day off work, but of course that reflected poorly on me professionally and put me under a lot of stress. The equipment arrived on time, but the karaoke machine had very limited and only older song choices, and didn't list the artists. Overall, I'm very disappointed, and won't be recommending Passiontails to anyone.

No hassle set up, easy to use equipment, great tasting cocktails!

When I looked into hiring the Ultimate package from this company for my mother's 50th birthday party, I was impressed with how much the website said I received for the amount of funds to be paid. This was the first and last time I was happy with the service this company provided. I left four messages in a period of two weeks to try and get in contact with this company to organize the hiring of the equipment. It was on my fifth call that I was in contact with someone who then told me they could not assist me and to call a different number. I then could not get in contact with that person for another three phone calls over the next week. When I finally got in contact with someone, that individual was very helpful and told me loads of information about the equipment so I quickly hired the equipment.
I wanted to swap the smoke machine for another light set which he said was available and to write it in an email to him and everything would be sorted. I paid for the equipment and no more questions asked.
I had missed phone call three days before the day of the event at 4:30pm to see if it was possible for the equipment to be delivered at the venue the next day at 9am. I rang the number back as soon as I had finished work (5:30) to organize the delivery, to which I had no luck contacting the individual. I had a text message letting me know the situation to which I replied, 'No worries, let me know if you are still arriving at 9am'.
I still had no reply at 9:30 e next day.

I rang the number at 9:30 to see if the delivery was still coming. I eventually got through to which they said 'They are running late and will not be there for another 25 minutes'. 10:20 the delivery arrived.

I had opened the side gates to let them walk through the back to take the equipment to an undercovered area in which the equipment was to be placed. The men walked through the house, without a glance to get me to sign a piece of paper to confirm their delivery.
Next problem arrived when the 2 sets of lights was not delivered, and instead the one set with the smoke machine. I let one of the individuals know in which he said he needed to ring up and see if what I was saying was correct.
Once they discovered that they had indeed may a mistake, they were able to swap some other order with mine to have the 2 sets of lights.

When they had finished bringing the equipment in, one of the men asked if I was going to be paying in cash for the equipment. I let him know that I had in fact already paid straight away as soon as I had ordered the equipment.

I asked him when they would be picking the delivery up, and they said they would call me on Sunday to organize a time.

The equipment worked brilliantly, and no complaints with the quality for the money at all.

Sunday night had arrived and no call had been made to organize a time to pick it up.
My partner had to stay home from work on the Monday to call them over and over again to try and organize a time to pick up the equipment.

Overall, I am very unhappy with the service that was provided by this company and their lack of consideration for us as customers in relation to drop off and pick up times.

Booked this for my 50th and everyone loved it. Service was great. Quick to respond to emails, delivered when they said they would, setup for us and picked up when they said they would. Basically all I had to worry about was picking who to go with as so many providers. I have no complaints about Passiontails in Melbourne.

Passiontails provided the cocktail slushie machine for my daughter's 18th birthday. In all my dealings Neil and his team were friendly and professional. The machine was delivered and set up with clear instructions for use and picked up on time with no mess to clean up !! Fabulous. Will definitely use Passiontails again.
