We hired the jukebox, chocolate fountain and slushie maker for our daughters 18th birthday. They were all a hit. Fantastic service by Gavin and Lisa from Melbourne. I would recommend Passiontails to anyone enquiring about party/event hire. This is the second time i have used passiontails and the overall experience & customer service could not be better. I will definitely be using them again. The Slushie Machine arrive within plenty of time before the my Daughters 21st was to start, it was clean and setup in no time. The collection next day was done just as easy and quick as the delivery.

We hired the Ultimate Package (Digital Jukebox Hire with Karaoke & Twin Tub + Lights and Smoke Machine).
The song selection on the Jukebox was very good - lots of variety. But the second microphone kept giving feedback (that static-y sound) when not used. We tried turning the volume down on that microphone but it did nothing to stop it. We eventually just pulled the cord out and didn't use the second mike. Also, the Jukebox would occasionally freeze on us and stop playing music altogether. We used the Jukebox as our main source of background music during the night, so that was a little frustrating. The volume button was also on a touch screen that was sometime difficult to press.
The most frustrating thing from the whole experience though, was the slushy machine. We had the machine set up at around 4pm. We were told by Passiontails that it would need at least 2 hours for it to be ready. We assumed since our party was starting at 630pm, the slushy would be ready. At 630, the slushy was in fact, icy and ready to go, but by 7pm, the slushy turned back into liquid and by the end of the night (around 11pm), it was all just very sweet water. The kids couldn't even drink it coz it didn't taste very nice in the liquid form. We didn't touch any settings and left it exactly as their delivery driver had told us to. This was very disappointing. The kids were looking forward to having this as we had promised to them we would have a slushy machine.
Lastly, we didn't even end up using the fog machine. Every time we tried to turn it on, the stuff coming out of it smelt so bad we had to open up the doors to ventilate the room. It stayed off the whole night.
Overall, not very happy with the quality of items we got. Considering we got the ultimate package, and spent quite a lot on, we assumed we would be getting working equipment. This obviously wasn't the case and we are very disappointed in it. We won't be hiring from them again.

Setup was prompt and easy. Great value, and super flexible - were able to accommodate everything I asked for. No dramas at all - ideal!

We called with a short notice booking and never felt it was an imposition. Everything was arranged on the phone within a few minutes.

Very appreciative of the extra help & advice given to us around selecting flavours / alcohol for slushy machines.

Delivery was on time and stress free and the same with the after party pickup.

We hired the jukebox slushie machine combo which included free cups and straws, everything went very smooth from the original booking to the pickup the next day. The jukebox which came with two microphones for the karaoke was a huge success and the slushies were also very popular. Thanks for the great service would definitely use again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends....

The second time I've used this service, for both my daughters 18 birthday parties, they are professional, prompt, fair price, a nice cheerful guy came to pick up the slushie machine, nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend them to anyone.
