Anne was so lovely, patient, professional and compassionate and made the celebration and goodbye for my dear father everything I wanted it to be. From the initial shock and grief she was there for me with all my questions, confusion, and worry. Her suggestion on the venue (Bunurong) was so good - lovely feeling, and the facilities were excellent. The hot rod hearse was truly so special… I know Dad would have loved it and when David revved it, it set me off sobbing. Such a special touch. They truly give it the personal family touch with complete professionalism. thank you Anne and David.

As difficult as it was to say goodbye to Ive, Anne and David were wonderful right from the start. The service was beautiful and a fitting farewell to a much loved Husband, Dad, StepDad and Pop. We have had many people who attended and those that live streamed the service comment on how lovely it was.

I could not recommend Anne and David at Oakdale Funerals highly enough, they were a great support to the family and the service was wonderful. There were Professional and compassionate care was A1 and far more personal than the big firms and though they were considerably cheaper the standard of service was just as good if not better. My Mother's service in celebration of her life was just wonderful.
I honestly cannot thank Anne and David enough. Neither of them had met my Mum, but you would not know it. Anne was the Celebrant and she portrayed Mum exactly the way she was.
It went so smoothly and nothing seemed to be any trouble or stress with them. I highly recommend them, I am hoping not to use their services any time soon, but I would not use any other Funeral Service. Thank you!!

Oakdale Funerals provided an excellent service for our beloved family member. Both Anne and David are professional, compassionate and flexible with anything you may ask or prefer, they truly will customise and suggest options to be the service you hope for. At no time did they say no or not try to fulfill our requests, and helped overcome some hurdles. We always felt we had choice and personalisation and I could see Anne could really grasp how we wanted everything, and the kind of person we were saying goodbye to. There was a lot of contact, both written, verbal and in person to ensure everything was coming together, and a lot of attention to detail.
Anne did an amazing job of changing aspects with short notice and moving things around to flow nicely, without ever seeming annoyed or fussed, she did everything with pride and must work well under pressure and time constraints. The service was during stage 4 restrictions as well, but anything not possible, she helped find solutions. She brought a touch of softness to the service as well, and made it feel a tribute and farewell, with smiles and not just a funeral with grief, and felt very genuine. It felt very personal, and not a script.
Everyone spoke of how beautiful the service was, and her team really made us feel comfortable. Our family were very happy with our choice of Directors as sad times are made so much worse when you can't give the send off you'd like, and they deserve. I would highly recommend Oakdale Funerals.
