In the hardest of times in our life we were blown away by the professionalism and personal approach from Anne and David. Anne visited our home to meet with the family prior to my brothers celebration of life- she took the time to understand us and who he was as a person and what we needed in a service. From the colour and style of the flowers- to the hot rod hearse to take my brother away- everything was covered and included. No hidden costs. Anne and David made themselves available to us any time of day or night for anything we needed. The respect shown to my brother and our entire family was just impeccable. During the service- I noticed Anne making eye contact with the coffin as she spoke- for me- the ultimate sign of respect. The venue Anne helped us choose was beautiful- and the flexibility of Oakdale to bring my brother back out of the room for a second viewing (we had a family member arrive late and wished to see my brother) Anne and David understood how important this was and allowed this to happen- no questions asked. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Highly recemmended! My mother passed suddenly and we had no funeral plan in place so we looked for a small family firm local to us. We contacted Oakdale Funerals and they were amazing. From recovering my mother and looking after her until the funeral to dealing with all the administration and the funeral itself was perfect. Where do I begin? We found absolute gems, Anne and David to guide us through the saddest and most stressful time for me, my son and daughter. Anne came to visit us at home and helped us prepare for my beloved husband’s funeral.
