Very pleased with the care and service offered by Mount Helena Vets. Our anxious pets (2 dogs and cat) strangely always seem happy to visit the clinic :-)Tails wagging, even after their surgeries. I think the calm environment and loving staff make it a nice experience for them.
Their veterinary advice is always well balanced between the animal's needs and the expense of various treatment options. We would recommend them without hesitation.

I have been using Mt Helena Vet for a number of years and have always found their service to be professional, friendly and caring. Our 3 dogs love the staff and are never worried about their visit to the vet. We really appreciate their special care of our old Staffy when he got sick recently.

Ridiculously overpriced! paid $660 and our dog is still sick! They charge like wounded bulls and you don't get your pet back unless you pay the full amount when you go to pick it up. They gave us the bill with the amount on it, then asked if they could just 'observe' her for a few more hours. The bill was then altered with another charge for them to 'observe' her and she's STILL sick! honestly, take your pet elsewhere. The woman at the front desk, [Retracted] is very rude and needs to learn manners and people skills.

I have been taking my 2 Rottweilers here over the last 12 months. It was actually our local vet but we have moved away from the area and I still continue to take them there. The staff are great and really listen to me and what is happening with my dogs. They show lots of interest and really love the dogs. They go above and beyond to help and are very sympathetic and understanding. They understand that sometimes it may not be an emergency as such but does require urgent attention and will see you straight away not just during allocated consulting times as a lot of other vets do.

I have always found the staff to be exceptionally caring. Dr Natalie is loved by my dog Max. She was available after hours when we thought we were going to lose him one night. She said he had an "Addisonian crisis". He made a miraculous recovery and came home the next day even better than before he got sick. They have turned their place from an eye sore a few years ago to a beautiful oasis in the town. I think it shows how much pride and care they take. I would not go anywhere else now.
