I purchased a deal for 3 cuts and blow dry with this Hairdresser. For the first month I could not establish an appointment, then eventually managed to book one. Of course we all know everything has an expiry. However I consider it to be in very poor taste to make the last booking by their choice 12days after the expiry date without explaining it is beyond the use by date. I travelled 30 kms to my appointment arrived, greeted warmly sat in the chair and discussed what we would do today and then the hairdresser checked that I was a voucher customer when I confirmed I was but it was the last one, I was informed it had expired and could not be used. When I protested and reminded the hairdresser that it was his choice of dates not mine and I should have been informed. He apologised and said he could do the job today for a discounted price. On that note I walked out - Fairly close to a scam I feel but I wasn't falling for it.Be very aware when using a voucher. I know business is all about making money but don't offer vouchers if you aren't prepared to honour them, even 12 days late.

I purchased a deal for this hairdresser. The fine print did mention extra costs could apply but were not always specific. On the day I expected to pay extra but not 4 times the cost of the voucher. I had to pay $25 for having long hair cut. It was in the fine print but I have never heard of such a thing before from other salons. I was charged an extra $55 for my long hair to be colored which I was expecting but not to be charged quite so much. Also I was charged $60 for toner, again I was expecting but in similar situations in other salons the most I have been charged for toner is $15. That's $140 on top of my $35 voucher making my "bargain" hairdressing experience $175. They did do a good job but seriously what is the point of offering deals if you are going to be hit with so many extra costs. I probably wouldn't go back because in these economic times I simply wouldn't be able to afford their prices. My advice to anyone with a deal or thinking of purchasing one, don't go there expecting a bargain and be prepared to pay a lot more than just the cost of the voucher.

I was nervous about going after reading the reviews but i have to say that i was really impressed with the hair cut i got and the knowledge of Asha my hairdresser. Yes i had to wait a long time but i was using a Scoopon voucher which was really good value for money. If you go with the right attitute and dont expect everything for nothing you will be really pleased. These hairdressers know how to cut hair and work really hard.

If you want to go to Corcorz... here is a word of advice... don't give your email address at the reception as owner may use this to threaten you with defamation and demand miney for her legal fees via an email from her lawyer. i wrote an honest review of my experience there and how the owner started verbally abusing me. Other Google reviews also show her threats of defamation. If Corcorz is so upmarket and long established, why to they churn through so many voucher customers? Wouldn't the business already have a happy stable client base happy to pay full service fees?

The owner shouted and abused me too....I dont know how they get away with it.

The owner yelled abuse at me too. I've read many reviews about her appalling behaviour. She's an absolute bully, it's shocking.

Of course she would pull a legal card on you, not only does she have extremely bad service and bully both staff and clients I know she had been in trouble from the law for actual physical assault, so she is not new to dealing with lawyers

I first discovered Corcorz as an observer; buying a voucher for my younger sister (aged 32) who never quite "got there" where hair and makeup were concerned. At our first visit, she was transformed by Asher, and yet it was only a minor change that she could live with - but she looked so beautiful my mother cried!

Having spent more money than sense on hair myself, I booked myself an appointment to share the experience at our next visit, and loved the fact that Binny listened to my likes and dislikes, and delivered THE best hair cut of my life (I am 39).

On our third visit, I took along my almost 13 year old daughter, who has never shown any interest at all in hair, more as a bonding experience, but WOW! Binny created for her a self-manageable look, that both completely altered her appearance, without growing her up too fast and again, my mother cried! And, the best part is the way my little girl proudly relayed the compliments she received at school to me tonight; terribly proud of how she feels, yet still with the wonder of a little girl who has discovered something for the first time.

I cried.

To Carole, you have a fantastic team of people who are dedicated to ensuring the client feels a million dollars on departure. Whatever it is that you give them, please know that we as clients recognise it and appreciate as Corcorz 'point of difference'.

first went there with voucher. took pictures, talked to stylist (bree) about my hair 'issues'. she listened, & cut exactly wanted i wanted. possibly vest haircut i've ever had. have been back to bree & once other stylist. they have always listenend & cut exactly what i wanted & to suit my hair. didn't try to upsell colours & products which most other salons do. i colour at home because that's all i can afford, & they don't try to make you feel bad about it. I don't like having to engage in annoying small talk, so i liked that aobut the salon. but mostly, just bloody good cuts, which is the most important thing.

I also bought one of the internet deals for Corcorz - only a cut, wash, blowdry for $29. I bought it then read all the bad reviews and found out my roommate went there also (she said she did not like the service but loved the cut). I actually really enjoyed my experience! My appointment was 6:45 friday night, I got there and went straight to a chair and she began cutting. Only thing was that I had to wait maybe 5 mins for a basin to get my hair washed. I was probably only in hair dresser for 30min and love the cut!! The hairdresser was called Bree (i think she was irish) but also Carol, the owner was very pleasant and cleaning (sweeping etc) the entire time and seemed very happy!

I went in with a voucher for 3 haircuts from Groupon. I was quite happy with the coupon value but I would not pay their normal prices as I believe they are far too expensive.
I arrived perfectly on time but they were running late, (fair enough, that doesn't really bother me) so I sat down to get my hair cut nearly 40mins late. I was quite happy with how my hair turned out but was not happy with the service. I was not told my hairdressers name until she was writing on my card at the end of the appointment. She did not hold any conversation with me and at one stage one of the employees (possibly the manager) started a massive yelling match with another employee out on the floor. It was very obvious and disturbed the atmoshpere of the room. I believe if you are going to talk negatively to another employee you do it respectfully and not in front of customers.
I will be going back to fulfill my voucher but I would not recomend it and will not be going again once my offer runs out.

i would like to thank all the staff who make you feel welcome and make you look amazing. l would like to say to all the negative people with the reviews recently and previously, how would you like someone to put on display to everyone there feelings about yourselves. some of you need to put yourselves in there shoes for just one day? Carole you and your team are truly inspiring individuals. when l leave the salon l feel so uplifted and satisfied. thank you to everyone at CorCorz hair.

This site asks for honest comments.
YOU were happy, others were not.

I think Corcorz was amazing and Carole is my favourite hairdresser of all time. My only regret is not finding them sooner - I would never let anyone touch my hair except for them again. I'm glad I went before I read the reviews.

Don't bother....As per most of the other comments, I bought vouchers via internet. When I rang for appointment, had to wait 5 weeks...I'm sure if I just rang today and asked for an appointmt I'd be in a lot sooner. these vouchers are to increase business' exposure to new clients however this business just puts you completely off. The appointments for a shampoo and haircut are really long and about 5 different people will wash, blow dry cut and generlly swap and change. No chance to even atttempt to begin any kind of client relationship. I wouldn't bother again with Corcorz overall their rude and dimissive of any one who comes in using a discount voucher when really they should be trying to impress you and win your long term business.
