I recently had a meal here with my husband after a two week stint of going meat free. We had had a lovely steak meal here a few months ago after a MSO concert, and it was spot on, so decided to come back and try some other things.

My husband and I both ordered entree's. I ordered the pork belly, and my husband had the scallops - both were delicious.
For mains, we both went the eye fillets, which came on a bed of creamy olive oil mash and sauteed spinach leaves. Steak was sensational - just like last time. Amazing char-grilled flavours all the way through. Shared a iceberg, pear and blue cheese salad. Also really lovely.

For dessert, we shared an amazing chocolate fondant and a banana creme brule. Both were sensational and I highly recommend.

We will be back! Not just the food was great hear, but the outdoor seating (even in winter) was comfortable and offers great views of the Melbourne CBD. It is fun to sit and watch people too. The heaters outside made this just like being inside, but with fresh air and a great lively vibe.

Recently needed some catering for a company conference and was told that Mary's was the way to go. She was very accommodating and good for advice on how much of what we should need. Very well priced, and offered quite a selection too. Would recommend to anyone :)

I purchased two bras from here the other day and received exceptional service from a young girl who served me. She was extremely helpful and was great with advice too. I used to think that it was too expensive to buy bras here, but I realise now that was an incorrect assumption and I will be coming back here next time I need one.

So much fun!!! Took a heap of friends here for my last hurrah for work. Had an absolute ball! Loved that the price included a drink credit, and it turns out to be very good value for money if you have 14 people to fill it. So much fun. Great variety and easy to find what you are looking for too. Looking forward to returning :)

Stopped here to pick up some lunch recently and had to wait quite a while to be served even though I was in there before most of the other people who were served before me at the counter. Discovered that older men are happy to push in and the staff didn't take any notice who was there first. Lots of the usual milk bar type of deep-fried go-to's like dim sims, chicken schnitzel sangas and sandwiches and rolls. Prices were ok too. I had a roast beef sandwich, but was quite disappointed by it to be honest. The place was pretty busy though, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing or I'm super fussy about my food.

I had a fairly eye-opening experience at this location last night. After not doing my research properly, we were not able to get into the restaurant I wanted, so stupidly suggested this place because it was close and I had seen advertising in the local paper, so surely it would be ok? Wrong. I think this could be the scummiest place I have ever had the displease of eating at. The meal menu mainly consisted of deep fried things and when I asked the waitress about one of the menu items called "BBQ Pork Fingers" her description was "you know, they are like, fingers of pork, you know, like...*insert her making an ambiguous gesture*" which not only didn't assist with describing, but left me more confused. When I asked her if it was deep fried, she had to really think about it before deciding that no, they don't deep fry them. Needless to say, I did not opt for the "bbq pork fingers", instead I got the "snapper" which came out looking like it was fresh from a steam bag from McCains or something, with a side of vegies which must have accompanied it in the steam bag, and a salad that looked so lifeless I was debating whether I should check for a pulse.
Two others I ate with had the parmas, and my husband advised me that his parma was 80% fried battered crumb and 20% chicken if that. The other person had the friend chicken balls, which came out raw in the middle. Charming. The kind waitor gave her a free dessert to make up for it...
In addition to the horrible food experience, this place was really rough too. This is not a place to take your kids, or your frail, or your partner for a nice meal. I am fairly sure this place only exists for fried snack food for the throughly plastered individuals that frequent the place. It was quite scary really. So, moral of this story. If you want a cheap bowl or chips and someone you can feel deeply unsafe; head on down here and you will not be disappointed. Otherwise...run for the hills!

Decided to have breakfast here this morning and was not disappointed by the quality or size of the portions. It cost $16 for a big breakfast, which is normal for the outter suburbs and it included eggs, bacon, hash brown, mushrooms, a sausage and toast. My husband had the eggs florentine and he devoured it all with gusto.
I really like the modern ambience in this place. I look forward to coming back for dinner soon.

Have been waiting to go here for ages, so was happy to be in the area during the week and able to go there for lunch.

The interior is modern and yet still quite earthy and sympathetic to its surrounds.
I ordered the pork belly and my friend got the whiting. Both come to us like a work of art. I took some photos of the food to remember (and share with you).
My pork belly was delicious and perfectly cooked. The meal was well balanced and the flavours were perfect.
My friends whiting looked incredible. I didn't have the heart, or the desire to ask to try some because I was enjoying mine so much, but he finished it all and seemed quite happy with it.
I'm looking forward to coming back here to try out some more dishes.

I have lost count of how often I have been here. The last time I went was during the week, which was so much better, as the place gets totally inundated with tourists on weekends (naturally).

I am a massive fan of their strawberry wine (non alcoholic), it is my favourite beverage.

Last time I was here, I ordered a Chocolate fondue for two which came with approx 12 large and beautiful strawberrys and a medium pot of the best damn Belgium chocolate liquid you will ever find. So good!

Great jams, preserves and various local produce sold there. Warning, if you come on a weekend, or during school holidays, it will be extremely busy and wait times will be extreme...that is if you can get a table.

This place does amazing hearty salads that make you kind of excited for salad.

You get a massive selection and they are all filled with all sort of yummy things. My favourite is crispy chicken and greek salad, but there are all sort like felafel, couscous, potato, vegetable, Thai....I could go on.

For $9.90 you get to choose from 3 of the salads which are then piled high on your plate and you get to feel a little better about "just having salad" for lunch.
