Although the chicken and chips here a wee bit pricier than some other places - they are both so delicious that cost isn't a factor. Along with the wonderful, friendly service from Chris and his team their food is scrumptious. Highly recommend the home-made Greek rice pudding. It's very good.

A group of us went here recently for a midweek meal. Loved the chicken satay entree and my husband raved about the green chicken curry. I had the Kway Teow noodles with chicken. So tasty, mild hit of spice... and noodles - I love noodles.

Approximate cost: $20

Felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. My husband had the pork cutlet which was cooked beautifully and so tasty. I had the fish and chips. The chips were fabulous and so was the crispy battered flathead. We will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The house flatbread was sooo delicious as was the accompanying pesto. The signature pasta cooked in the cheese wheel was great to watch being made and a treat to eat, although the portion is a little small. The entree terrine was also very tasty as was the bloody mario - a take on the bloody mary with char cooked prawns (these were amazing), bacon, chicken all protruding from a bloody mary. One negative - we weren't offered another drink. This happens everywhere. They take the empty glass without asking it you'd like another. As a manager or owner - that would drive me insane. Around $60pp with a drink.

Had been looking forward to dining here for a long time. Well worth the wait. Our waitress was a little dismissive, however the woman who I think was the restaurant manager, was excellent. Their signature entree ... lobster medallion, bisque and prawn ravioli was delicious. The bisque in particular was heavenly. Couldn't just drunk a bucket or so of that and been totally satisfied. At $35 ... a wee pricey for an entree - however it was very special. The steak main, even with being cooked well done (to my liking) was melt in the mouth deliciousness. The accompanying Roquefort potato bake was subtle and divine. $40 for the steak. Also would recommend the bread and salted butter. Can't wait to go back.

Went there for our duaghter-in-law's birthday dinner last weekend. I thought there were hits and misses with some of the dishes. The gyoza and tempura oysters were delicious. The tatsuya and yakitori, although tasty were very overcooked and dry. The rack of lamb, chateaubriand and salt and pepper squid were also very good. They make a mean Japanese Slipper. Quite pricey. $400 for 4, with only 2 drinking.

Cheesemonger have recently taken up a position in the new foodie area at Westfield Marion. They have amazing cheeses and the new set up looks very inviting. They have also started baking and serving tarts and pastries made with.... yes of course... cheese! The leek and gruyere tarts are soooo delicious. At $3.95 per tart, I think they are a little pricey, however the taste is divine. The tart shell is buttery and perfect. I just love them. They have some breads there too now.

In the newly developed foodie area of Westfield Marion, Manuel's Seafood has taken up a new position. They now include freshly shucked oysters which look amazing, but am yet to try and also fish/squid/prawns and chips. Tried the squid and chips recently and was a bit disappointed. Although all 3 options are around $7.50 per serve, it was mainly chips, which were delicious and well cooked and 6 small overcooked calamari rings. I thought the portion of calamari was miserly and I would expect them to be able to cook it to perfection. Think they need to lift their game.

I believe their main store is in Norwood which I haven't tried, however they opened a shop at the newly developed foodie area of Westfield Marion recently. Earlier this year we spent 5 weeks in France and the bakeries are amazing. If I were comparing this bakery to those we generally come across in Australia then it would have scored better, but I'm as they have a French pastry chef I would expect better. The almond croissant was toffeed and tasty but quite heavy for a croissant. The almond tart was really quite nice. The pastry was particularly good. Short and buttery. Lemon tart also quite nice. It was definitely better than average but not as good as great. Would still recommend.

I haven't eaten in but the menu certainly looks enticing with noodle, ramen and rice dishes featuring prominently. The takeaway however is pretty good. They're always friendly. The prawn spring rolls are ok, but the veggie ones are really good as are the gyoza. Sushi is always a winner in our house with my favourites being the tempura prawn and teriyaki chicken.
