My friend and I stopped here for a bite recently. Disappointed with the food. My schnitzel was dry and quite bland. The parmy topping tasted like a can of tomatoes with some cubed ham. The salad bar looked interested but looks can be deceiving. Many pubs seem to cater for seniors which often means the food is uninteresting and devoid of any real flavour.
Small, cosy and a great atmosphere. Service is excellent. Tried the chilli cheese fries - delicious! Texas BBQ burger and grilled chicken burger were good. Burgers are a little on the small side.
Unfortunately since new people took over this restaurant, the quality and taste of the food has gone downhill. Recently ordered honey and garlic king prawns which were gluggy with large chunks of garlic. Braised pork with cashews was lacking flavour as was the chicken with coconut milk. The satay was quite nice. Would not return.
The owners used to own Hilltop Vietnamese and recently opened the new restaurant just up the road. So glad they're back. The food is delicious. A new location albeit it within walking distance of the last one, seems to have given them a boost. They are happier and friendlier and the food is still great. I love their prawn meat on sugar cane and the pork balls. Also love the satay, sizzling steak, salt and pepper chilli chicken and..... There's a lot to love here.
Have been hearing great reviews from friends so was happy to try this restaurant on the weekend. It's a small, clean restaurant with a minimalist approach. The kitchen is open so you can see what's going on - I like that. The mixed entree platter was enjoyed very much by my husband. I had asked to be advised of any fresh coriander used as my body cannot tolerate it. Unfortunately they neglected to tell me that 2 of the 4 items on the platter contained coriander. The other 2 were delicious. Favourite meal was the chicken with creamy tomato gravy - could've had a bowl of the delicious gravy with the soft beautiful roti. Small but very good wine list. Look forward to going back :)
My hubby and I really enjoyed the burgers here. I had the boss single and the beef patty was full of flavour and cooked well. The burger as a whole, was not fancy, which I loved. It had the basics - cheese, lettuce, tomato and just a really tasty burger with a good amount of delish secret sauce. Hubby had double boss and loved it too. I didn't enjoy the sauce on the pepper fries, but that's just me - fries were yum though. Recommend this place for sure.

Called in here a couple of Sunday's ago for a chicken schnitzel. It was really good. I'd have to say in the top 5 schnittys that I've tried. Not too thick, not too thin and dry, crumbs were crunchy and full of flavour. Chips and salad were good too. Would return.
Have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I'm not a huge fan of Indian cuisine, however I really enjoyed the meal here. The naan bread is light fluffy and delicious. The Dhaba Murg, tandoori chicken and pullau were all scrumptious. My hubby said the goat was really delicious too. Would definitely recommend and look forward to a return visit.
Although colourful, the outside of this restaurant on a main road looks a little kitsch. Don't judge - it's great. The paella was delicious, with that perfect crust on the bottom, although the seafood in it wasn't really needed and didn't have much flavour - the seafood not the paella. Their patatas bravas - yum, the chorizo... the albondigas - yum. Great for sharing. Great sangrias - my favourite was the mediterranean sangria, great service... can't wait to go back. Price is for 4 people

This hotel has been recently renovated. The outside area looks very inviting and relaxed. The new dining area is interesting. It's like there are about 5 areas and a different person designed each... not a great look. Looking at the menu, I was excited to try their new americanised food. The Southern Fried Chicken entree was a little bland but was quite a large serve with chips and dipping sauce. For mains I had Jambalaya... a blob of red rice with some chicken and prawns. Not nice at all. My friend had the oysters kilpatrick - nice flavours but very small oysters and a steak - which she said was OK. The salad bar was uninteresting. The burgers arriving at other tables looked good, so may return to try one, but otherwise would not recommend. There was also no table service.
