A group of us go out for dinner every Tuesday night and take it in turns to choose the venue. I wasn't too excited with this choice. However, the food is good pub style food which exceeded expectations. They have daily specials which are very reasonable. Hy husband said the lamb's fry and bacon was good. I enjoyed the schnitty.

This no-frills place is right on the main road. We tried the kebabs - all of them. A couple of them are minced meat with spices and unfortunately coriander (which it doesn't state), so I didn't enjoy those. However there were chicken kebabs which had the most delicious charred smoky tasting chicken pieces. Served with rice, salad and fabulous house made pita break. Great value. It calls itself a bakery which I think is quite deceiving. Although they do sell middle eastern bread, their main trade is the meals. Well worth a visit.

Having been fortunate enough to have eaten traditional Portuguese tarts, I was so excited when this place opened in Adelaide. The service is great, the pastry is crunchy and flaky - just how it should be, but unfortunately the filling was overly sweet, it had a strange texture - not at all eggy and custardy like it should be. I'm sad to say we won't be returning.

Everything was fantastic. The service was perfect. My Kangaroo Island gin with Mediterranean tonic was fantastic. The wine was divine - of course and the food fabulous. My favourite dish was the squid. So tender and so tasty, I could've eaten a mountain of it. The duck bao, the sourdough, the pork belly - all fantastic. Can't wait to return.

The tour of Magill Estate was fabulous. Our guide Paul, was informative, animated and obviously enthusiastic about what he does. The story was interesting and included a wander around the estate and a tour of the cottage. This was then followed by a private wine tasting with the last wine being a Grange. Loved the experience and would highly recommend.

We were lucky enough to receive a voucher for a pizza from this pizza bar. It's a bit further to go, but the yiros pizza was delicious. Totally different to what we'd usually order - we're bbq meat lovers people - but so glad we tried this one. It was delicious. Loved the lettuce and home made garlic sauce on top. Will definitely return.

The coffee here is fabulous. We buy the beans by the kilo so we can enjoy them everyday. The service is friendly and welcoming. The decor is a mish mash of "flavours" that just works
For a recent Sunday breakfast we devoured the brekkie burger. Delish! Especially loved the home-made hash brown.

It had been years since we'd been here and so many people rave about this restaurant so returned for a special occasion. Although not overly busy we struggled to get served. Felt like our table was invisible. The salt and pepper squid was so salty I couldn't finish it - I love squid and salt, but this was too much. The wagyu main and whiting and chips were on the small side and also too salty. A pricey and disappointing evening for us.

This restaurant is open for dining from 11am...ish. A couple of Sundays ago we had a late breakfast (as we usually do) and then we're not hungry again until about 3 or 4pm. Went here for a late lunch/early dinner. Food came out quickly. An overly sweet lemon chicken, a rather bland beef and cashew stirfry and another equally unimpressive dish. Although it had been quite a while since we'd eaten here, the food used to be rather nice, so I'm not sure what happened on this day. Needless to say it was our last visit there ever. What bothered us most, is once the food was served we never saw any staff again. There was only 1 other couple eating. Eventually went searching for someone to pay and leave. I expressed dissatisfaction at the lack of service. On the way home, the owner rang me to say she'd checked the video footage and we were served within 10 mins so nothing to complain about. I told her my reference was to no-one checking on us during or after the meal. Offering a drink or any kind of service. She told me they're busy prepping for the evening, to which I replied - then why open in the afternoon if service isn't important. She hung up on me!

Tried this place a few weeks ago. Even though it was a busy night there were plenty of staff working, however almost impossible to get served. The room looks fantastic and has a great feel. There were 4 of us and we shared a number of dishes. The Karaage chicken was moist. Satay entrees were very small and dry, although the sauce was good. The king prawn main with Balinese sauce had beautiful flavours. The beef cheek was very tasty but also quite fatty. The twice cooked pork belly was very good. They had a good drink selection. There were no standouts for us and the service was pretty bad so we won't be returning. Average for main was $30
