Had been looking forward to dining here for a long time. Well worth the wait. Our waitress was a little dismissive, however the woman who I think was the restaurant manager, was excellent. Their signature entree ... lobster medallion, bisque and prawn ravioli was delicious. The bisque in particular was heavenly. Couldn't just drunk a bucket or so of that and been totally satisfied. At $35 ... a wee pricey for an entree - however it was very special. The steak main, even with being cooked well done (to my liking) was melt in the mouth deliciousness. The accompanying Roquefort potato bake was subtle and divine. $40 for the steak. Also would recommend the bread and salted butter. Can't wait to go back.

With family visiting at the moment we decided to take them to a few wineries as we are all lovers of wine and we have so many wineries nearby. After much tasting we decided a meal was required and found D'Arry's Verandah to be perfect. Such a lovely setting, beautiful relaxing views with service being first class as well as the brilliant well presented delicious meals we enjoyed. I cannot say enough about this restaurant, we loved it here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. 10/10.

Unbelievable! I am amazed that no one has reviewed this wonderful restaurant yet. So it is up to me, my pleasure. I went here with my husband and a group of friends as it was a 40th Birthday celebration lunch. We had such a great time. They have spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, breathtaking views of the hills (so relaxing) and such incredible flavoursome food. An enormous menu with wine to match, a very friendly waitress who went through the menu with us. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, none of us could fault anything, it was absolutely perfect!!!! A must is their desserts, I made sure there was room for that. I will say that it is very expensive, but well worth it, excellent quality food, surrounds and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely return, but it will be a special occasion like this one. You really need to book, as on the weekends they are extremely busy, but was told during the week not so bad as long as it isn't the holidays. Anyway, had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Approximate cost: $40
