We walked in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation. The service was perfectly timed and responsive to our needs and preferences. The room itself is cosy, with windows looking over busy Victoria Street. After a glass of bubbles at the bar, we had the most delicious twice-cooked pork belly, matched with a lovely Beaujolais. The other main, a duck leg confit with red cabbage was outstanding.
Do make sure you try the strawberry champagne cocktail, though - that one is excellent!
Bottom line - we really enjoyed it, will defs be back!

From the moment you walk in, you are well looked after at Our Place on Darling. Pork Belly was one of the entrees and was delicious, although if cooked right it rarely ever is bad. Mains were Beef Eye Fillet or Lamb.
All of the food was so fresh and homemade, presented beautifully. The regular menu is extensive and great value , and the speciality nights are really a dining experience the tapas night is fun and excellent in every way.
Great find!

Monday to Friday from noon till 4pm get a large wood fired pizza for only $12.50; there are ten different varieties. The chicken risotto was superb - creamy and garlicky - and the spaghetti bolognaise delicious! The staff were friendly and the decor very pleasant. The octopus salad had lots of octopus, more than I could eat, but well flavored and well cooked.
Pastas and daily specials are also pretty good Nice atmosphere with very friendly staff BYO or fully license is always ready to provide a great dining cosy dinner.

We arrived a little early, just before 7 and the restaurant was a third full and we were taken in by the ambiance and the really appealing music in the background. The food is always of exceptional quality with new dishes added periodically. Never had one that I haven't enjoyed yet.
The waitresses are friendly and happy to help, and they have specials which are always changing. If you get a chance to go, definitely do it. Beware - it seems like its always full, so call ahead!

This review is for Billy Kwong Chinese Eating House, Surry Hills NSW

We visited Billy Kwong last night and it was amazing! Great service and great food using a nice mixture of native Aussie ingredients. The biodynamic beef rice rolls in the entree section are also nothing short of amazing. It's best to book, because it does get busy. Service is fast, as is the turnover.
This is a place to engage in an experience. Staff are efficient and not pushy or dismissive, food is a dream, atmosphere to die for. Make sure you go.

This review is for Peace Harmony Vegetarian Thai Restaurant, Sydney NSW

Authentic Thai Vegetarian / Vegan Cuisine! Probably the best in Australia. My wifeand I are meat eaters, but we found ourselves looking for a reasonably priced meal in Sydney, which led us to Peace Harmony. I never expected to find the food so tasty or the people inside so nice.
We particularly liked the red curry, tom yum soup, vegetables with cashew nuts and the phad thai noodles.
Thumbs up! Also very reasonably priced given the huge portions.

Approximate cost: $10-17

This review is for Ombretta, Glebe NSW

A stunning little restuarant tucked away in Glebe. Friendly, professional service. Ombretta is a great addition to the dining options at the Glebe Point end of Glebe Point Road. It has only been open for a couple of weeks but is already full of appreciative locals and others.
We shared a fabulous anti pasto plate...gorgeous. Our pasta dishes to follow were really good..pasta looked perfectly al dente.
Very reasonable priced.
We will certainly be back again!

This review is for The Dining Room, Sydney NSW

I have heard a lot about this place from friends whom had previously visited this restaurant. The dining Room offers a consistently excellent dining experience, from the food, to the ambience to the service.
The menu is a gastronomic delight ; the seafood as fresh as any in Australia. Its like going back 50years in atmosphere the heavy drapes on windows the seats the piano man the privacy given by space .love going here service is always good food is above standard and reasonably priced.
Menu's seem to change seasonally and the kitchen generally produces some little extra touch to enhance the experience.
Gotta come back again.

The atmosphere, food menu which always keeps me coming back and the service is fantastic. Inside, a warm welcome, knowledgeable and friendly staff and sensational food. All plates are to share, and once we'd fixed on a few "must have" dishes -the zucchini flowers, the kingfish crudo, the hanger steak.
Can't wait to return to experience what other delights she has in store. A culinary treat.

We shared an entree of calamari, and then a very tasty pizza from the specials board (which was altered on our request), and an extremely good spaghetti with pesto. The wine list was well priced, all the food was lovely and the staff where great. Its not a 5* setting just a small 'locals' Italian, a little out of the way but close enough to the CBD. Food was delicious (had chicken with proscuitto and mozzarella one night and boneless chicken thighs with spinach, pine nuts and olives in tomato sauce over mashed potatoes).
I highly recommend it!
