This place has amazing food, atmosphere and service. The waiter was very attentive - though this was one of those places where there is a bit of attitude. The environment is chill but buzzy, you can hear yourself talk, food is paramount. It gets very busy so try and book and order your food in stages so you do not get rushed. I think the bill came to about AU$130 for the food listed above and three glasses of wine. Not cheap for a lunch, but we ate plenty and it was definitely worth it. Would go back next time.

This restaurant is nothing short of amazing. We enjoyed every morsel of our food. Starters and mains were creative, expertly prepared, nicely presented. Salt cod croquettes were delicious, they were salty, smooth, packed full of flavour and cleverly balanced by a fresh orange and fennel salad. A comfortable setting, this converted church has been serving great cafe food to art lovers. Staff were super friendly and efficient and lovely too. highly recommended for those staying near Broadway or in town for Sydney Uni events. We'll be back.

Wow, how I love this place. The decor has been updated, although there wasn't anything wrong with the original and let's face it you aren't there for the decor:)
Restaurant is small and intimate downstairs, maybe seats 20ppl. I think that there may be private dining area upstairs which caters for larger groups. The food and service were of a high quality standard. Rabbit two-ways was amazing, but they were all excellent and innovative. We wil be looking for an excuse to go again!

I have been there many times and have never been let down. Soft furnishings mean that you and your party can hear each other speak! Menu's seem to change seasonally and the kitchen generally produces some little extra touch to enhance the experience.
The food here is surprisingly outstanding; the scallops for entree always excellent as is the steak. If with someone, share the beef or lamb: a particular treat. The experience is probably unique in Sydney. Love coming here.

It's a wonderful place. What a fun night!!!! Had a friends birthday, she was made feel special right from the moment we stepped in, birthday wishes all around from the host and the waiters, MC. The food was an amazing marriage of traditional flavours, playfulness and excitement all served up on a plate. It's hard to say which was better the food or the entertainment. They worked together so well it was seamless. I can find no fault with this club at all.

Best Italian hands down. The scallop starter was superb, with big perfectly cooked scallops. One of our table had the Tagliatelle for main, mixed at the table no less, so we all had a taste. The sommelier was very helpful and their wine list extensive and surperb too. This is the type of service we love. Waiters who think out of the box and go the extra mile. The food was truly exceptional - even better than many many great meals we had in other place. A must try for lovers of Italian cuisine

came across some reviews that reckon that this was the best indian restaurant in sydney, so, craving some curry, i went to check it out. The staff and chef are maculate and explain the dishes they serve beautifully. No buckets of curries made in bulk here. Beautiful, small serves of lovingly prepared dishes.
Every dish that we ordered that evening was sensational. The Eggplant Chips were unbelievably crispy and the Palak Patta Chaat with the yogurt sauce was so delicious.
It's more expensive than your local Indian, but well worth the price.
we definitely will come back.

It has creativity, innovation, flair , style and flavour in all of its dishes - in many ways. Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. From the unusual little appetiser starters all through to three two sweet courses, sixpenny delivers. The sweet-ones dusted with sugar offered before the desserts were wickedly good. We would all love to repeat this memorable evening.

I had my very first experience dining at the Lebanese restaurant, AL ASEEL in GREENACRE, SYDNEY, few days ago, Without a doubt the food is excellent and the very good value for money. Some of the really good dishes are: chicken and lamb grill, fattoush, Sambousek, Samke Harre (a fish dish).
The haloumi is heavenly. We shared a tasting plate, too, for entree, as well as the trio of deliciuos dips; hommos, baba ganouj and garlic, served with a fried bread.
We left, very happy, and very full from our dinner. We will certainly be back.

Approximate cost: $11-19

I was struck with the efficiency and warmth of the staff. I had the pate for entree which was lovely & then ravioli for main which was also very good. My wife & brother both had the mozzarella & tomato salad for entree and the steak frites for main which were cooked exactly as they'd asked.
The café is packed with lawyers and other suits for a good reason. Lunch and dinner are just as good. Don't miss it.
