My partner and I recently had dinner here for the first time and we were very impressed. The food was so tasty! I ordered the healthy mushroom stir fry and my partner ordered the chilli jam sauce chicken stir fry and we polished off both dishes! Plus the portions are quite generous so you are likely to be satisfied. The service was great, very timely...nothing to really complain about. I will definitely be coming back here, I can't believe I've never been before!

Approximate cost: $16

I took my partner here for his birthday because we both love Hurricanes in Bondi so we figured this one would be just as good but closer to us. I don't know, I was left a bit underwhelmed. We got a platter which included a steak, ribs, chicken wings, lamb cutlets, sausages and some chips. It was alright....the steak was cooked perfectly but the rest was semi-cold especially the chicken wings. The flavour was nice enough but I felt it wasn't as tasty as in Bondi. Service was great though and the booking process was a breeze. Overall I don't know if I'll return to this one but I'll definitely continue going to Hurricanes in Bondi.

I came here for a friend's birthday dinner a couple of nights ago and I actually really enjoyed myself. I thought the food was great, I ordered the pork skewers with dipping sauce and sticky rice and it was so delicious, I was tempted to order more. My partner had the cashew chicken and that too was very tasty. Price wise it is not the most affordable given that it is located in the Darling Quarter but the food was tasty enough so I did not mind. Service was reasonable also, there were no major delays or issues.
Overall I reckon I'd eat here again if I am in the area. I'm sorry to hear others' experiences here were not as positive.

This a Spanish tapas style restaurant, it's pretty good but seating is limited so I would strongly suggest making a reservation. The menu offers a selection of tapas as well as single main meals and paellas for sharing. The food is tasty, I don't know if it's necessarily better than other tapas places but it is very nice. The sangria here is always amazing so I always end up ordering two jugs! The staff are quite fun, friendly and attentive so that's always nice. Price wise I think it is comparable to other tapas places but it is by no means unreasonable. Overall a nice place to dine with friends, I would recommend trying it.

This review is for The Goni's Schnitzelria, Marrickville NSW

This restaurant specializes in a selection of schnitzels but offers other meats and Spanish cuisine. One thing to point out, the schnitzels in this place are giant! One schnitzel feeds about three people! And for about $25 each, it is very good value for money. The schnitzels are delicious and come in a vast variety of different toppings. The desserts, however were disappointing, either really heavy and sickening or really bland. Also the day I was there, the service was not too flash. Staff were quite inattentive but that could have just been a one off. I'd still recommend it because the value for money is excellent but I do recommend booking in advance because it can be hard to get a table if you just walk in.

I've been here a couple of times now and so far I've enjoyed my experience. This is an Italian style restaurant that serves pizza, pasta, and risotto and the food is pretty tasty. There is a good selection of pizzas and the base is nice and thin. The selection of pasta and risotto is not as large but they have some delicious items. I really enjoyed the Fettucini Norcina and Risotto Pescalora. Staff are generally pleasant and the food doesn't take too long. Price wise I thought it was reasonable so I'd be happy to recommend this place.

This a newly-opened Malaysian style restaurant, and while we were lucky to be seated immediately, the place must be popular because as we left we saw a huge line stretching down the street!
On to the actual review....the first thing to note is the interesting ordering system. You fill out a pad with your table number, menu item number and quantity then press the buzzer and the staff will come and take it. The service is super quick and the food comes out just as fast.

My partner got the mixed satay platter which comes with six chicken sticks, six beef sticks, peanut dipping sauce, and a few pieces of cucumber and onion. It was ok but not exceptional although the peanut sauce was tasty. The bits of onion and cucuber were a bit random, we didn't finish the onion because raw onion just did not seem to go with the rest of the dish.
I had roti canai with beef rendang which also came served with two dipping sauces; dhal and sambal. This I really enjoyed, especially the hot and flaky roti canai.

Price wise, I felt that our orders were a bit pricey for what they were. The satay platter was around $22.90, sure there were 12 skewers but they were quite tiny. There are main meals at other restaurants that give much better value for the same price. Same with the roti canai, this cost I think $13.90 and all it was, was one piece of roti and a few spoonfuls of dhal, beef rendang, and sambal. I just don't feel that a piece of bread and three small scoops of dipping sauce is worth that much.

Overall my first experience there was not too bad, and I will probably come back to try some of the other menu items.

While not the most exceptional Chinese food I've ever had, it was definitely tasty and enjoyable. The set up is not bad, the staff are attentive and the food came out very quickly. The menu selection is quite large and affordable; my partner ordered the sizzling Mongolian lamb and I had the sizzling beef with cumin and chili and both were very nice. Plus I love their spring rolls, they are not too greasy and the pastry is so light and fluffy. Over all I had a great first experience there and will definitely return to try more dishes.

My first visit to this pizza bar was for a friends birthday and I was very impressed. The atmosphere is great and the pizzas were heavenly with gluten free options available. There is so much variety for the toppings and each was perfectly cooked. The staff were very attentive which only added to the experience. Price is good too, we had a large group of 19 people so we paid $25 per person for all-you-can-eat (I believe that is available for bookings of 10 or more) but even individually the prices are reasonable. I will definitely come back.

A bunch of us came here for dinner, and while the food was delicious and pretty reasonably priced, the service was pretty disappointing on the night. Throughout the night we had to wait so long to get served and there were huge time gaps between each person's meals. I ordered the shantung chicken which was delicious but it came out so much later than everyone else's meal, by the time I got it everyone at the table had almost finished their meals! It could have just been an off night so I won't write the place off completely because the food was amazing.
