Awesome BBQ ribs. Perfect T-Bone steak. My husband used to like the 1kg steak, but it is not available anymore.

If you are a meat lover, this is definitely the place to go. Big servings and the ribs are outstanding.

We used to love your food. We came last weekend and it is not up to standard. The explanation we were given that "nothing has changed with the menu" did little to help. The aioli sauce took up to half an hour to arrive - there can be no explanation for that. We probably won't be back. Sorry.

Yeah, when they are too busy they cannot handle it and service drops markedly, I tend to go on quieter nights during the week when service and quality are assured

Although I do prefer the Darling Harbour location for atmosphere, Ryde is just as good in terms of food. The pork ribs are amazing! So juicy and tender, basted in their famous sauce. We always get a full rack with chips (I recommend the sweet potato chips!) They also have great salads and cocktails. Although I would not recommend the burgers, they are quite average in my opinion.

Great food, have been there twice in the last fortnight. They cook a great stake and awesome ribs. Great atmosphere among other restaurants at top ryde. The only problem is that it is sooooo busy, that service takes a hit and you have to wait, and it is relatively expensive, but definitely would recommend and will be back soon

Approximate cost: $33

I have said it before and I will say it again, you dont get better ribs than those served up at Hurricanes and it is great to see them move their operations to this region of Sydney.

You cant go past their pork ribs but i personally always get the half rack of pork ribs with half a BBQ chicken, the perfect match made in heaven.

It is located in the Toy Ryde Shopping Centre so there is ample parking available.

This place is easy to get filled up on pretty quickly so i would skip entrees and go straight into the good stuff.

Service isnt amazing but the food is exceptional, however you do pay for it.

Approximate cost: $40

I took my partner here for his birthday because we both love Hurricanes in Bondi so we figured this one would be just as good but closer to us. I don't know, I was left a bit underwhelmed. We got a platter which included a steak, ribs, chicken wings, lamb cutlets, sausages and some chips. It was alright....the steak was cooked perfectly but the rest was semi-cold especially the chicken wings. The flavour was nice enough but I felt it wasn't as tasty as in Bondi. Service was great though and the booking process was a breeze. Overall I don't know if I'll return to this one but I'll definitely continue going to Hurricanes in Bondi.

My boyfriend and I ate here to celebrate my birthday and even though it was a Wednesday the place was completely booked out. We ordered drinks and our food which came out quickly except my glass of wine was forgotten. The manager sorted this out for me but it seemed strange no one wondered why my boyfriend had a drink and not me. The steaks were lovely but a salad on the side would definitely be a plus. Overall the staff were great but given the price I would save it for special occasions.

Approximate cost: $30.00

I came here with two friends. I ordered 2 baked potatoes without the sour cream as I don't eat meat, dairy or eggs. I asked if they could put another flavour of gravy on the side with the potatoes but they didn't do that, so I was disappointed that they didn't have that option, even though there are many options for gravy if you order meat.

The baked potatoes were large and very filling. Each one cost only $4, so it was a satisfying meal, but I would have liked more taste, hence asking for gravy or other flavouring (even salt and pepper would have been fine).

My friends seemed to enjoy their orders though. Most of the meat dishes can come with chips if you like. They also provide you with a bib if you are a messy eater.

Approximate cost: $8

Slightly expensive I think.

Yes, looking back, it is expensive to eat here, but it's kind of what you'd expect when eating out. Potatoes are $4 for a big bag of them at the supermarket, whereas here they cost that much for one.

Have been here once and will not be returning. Was easy enough to make a booking a few days ahead of time. I had rump which cost about $35, but thats pretty much what i got steak and a few chips, and to top it off the rump was dry and overcooked. My friend had the ribs which were tasty but nothing special and again just came with a few chips. These meals could have used a bit of salad on the side. We finished our meals and 20 mins later were still not offered the dessert menu but instead handed out bill, as if they wanted us to leave. All in all not a nice night out food was overpriced and felt as though we were kicked out

Approximate cost: $35

Hi Lisa133, thank you for the heads-up. Clearly the level of customer service could be improved. Regards, Reeces
