I was referred to Dr Irving by my dentist regarding removal of my wisdom teeth. I was able to get an initial appointment fairly quickly and Dr Irving was very friendly and helpful. He explained to me my situation as well as the risks of surgery. He did my surgery a couple of weeks later and once again was very professional. The surgery went well, and I would happily recommend Dr Irving to anyone.
Price wise dental surgeries are generally expensive so I do not believe Dr Irving's price was out of the ordinary.
It's a nice charcoal chicken shop but I do not think it is the best. There are times that I've bought chicken here and it's been good and other times it was very overcooked and dry with too much of a charcoal taste. I think the take away value is very good however I am not a fan of the significant price discrepancy for eat in so I always just take away. Overall it is a decent place, just not spectacular.
This is a nice Italian style restaurant that offers gluten free options for most of their menu items. I quite enjoy their pastas, I think they're delicious but I was not terribly impressed when I ordered a pizza. The pizza tasted a bit like heated frozen pizza (although I only ordered pizza once so it could have been a one off). The food is a little bit pricey for what it is but the service is good and overall I had a positive experience.
This is my favourite Thai restaurant in the Parramatta area, I come here whenever I feel like Thai. The food is tasty and not too expensive, and there are quite a few options on the menu. It can get busy on the weekends but so far I've always managed to get seated quite quickly without a booking and the service is generally good. The only thing I have to criticise is that the tables are a bit too close together and it can get very squashy when busy but it's not too big of a deal.
I used to love this place while they still had a pizza menu, now that they've taken it off, I don't like it as much. Last few times I went there, the food has been average bordering on below average. Last time I was there I ordered a slice of mud cake for dessert and it came out so cold that it was solid so I did not end up finishing it. The place is ok but not great. I think there are much better restaurants in Newtown.
I've stayed here a few times when I've traveled to Melbourne and it's not a bad place to stay in if you are on a budget. I've stayed in both the shared rooms and a single room for myself and each time the experience was good. Shared rooms come with bunk beds and your own locker (you will need your own padlock) so you don't have to worry about your things getting stolen. Bathrooms are not located in the rooms so you will have to use a share bathroom on your floor but these are generally clean so it's not an issue. There is also a bar and an internet cafe in the hotel which is convenient and the hotel is located in the CBD. Considering it is so inexpensive, it is a great place to stay in.
I went to Sherpa Kitchen for dinner for the first time last week and I was very impressed. I like the look of the restaurant, and I like the menu selection. I had a lentil dish and my friend has a beef curry and both were delicious. The prices are reasonable, nothing is overly expensive. I will definitely return.
Criniti's is an Italian restaurant with a large menu selection, however I find that the food is overpriced for what it is and for the price it tastes quite average. Nothing on the menu has ever wowed me. The food is not terrible but it is not spectacular either. Service is usually very slow and the food takes ages to come out. Once I waited close to 30 minutes for a bottle of table water!! These days I only end up here if I am with friends and they insist on going there, I never initiate the visit myself.
Overall I like this bar, I come here whenever I happen to be in Bondi on a Friday or Saturday night. I think the venue is quite nice and I have not had any bad experiences with the staff although the beverages are a bit pricey. It can be heaps of fun on Saturday night when it's a full house.
I love this restaurant and go to it whenever I am in Newtown. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. My favourite dish on the menu is the soft shelled crab, I highly recommend it. The service is always fantastic, the staff are super friendly and attentive and the food always comes out quickly. Overall, excellent Thai restaurant.
