We attended this restaurant on a weekday as they had lunch specials for $12.90 and a plate of authentic pasta sounded appealing.

we ordered our meals which were very flavoursome and very good.

the service was efficient and polite.

A group of us went along for dinner before a sports match being held at nearby Kardinia Park recently and were impressed by the speed of service by the waitress. She was very polite and professional and giving us the heads up to order quickly as there the dinner rush was about to start.

we all had different meals including burger, fish, chicken parmas and kids meals. Everyone was happy as meals were hot and freshly prepared.

the kids meals were reasonably priced at $8.50 each and were a generous serve (tempura chicken nuggets and chips and spaghetti bolognaise).

The waitress took our order from the table using her ipad and drinks were ordered from the bar.

meals were priced from 20 to 35 approx and were delicious.

This bustling cafe seems to have its fair share of diners during the lunch rush on weekdays which is an appealing sign that the food must be good .. if its busy right ...
so i tried a sandwich for lunch and found it be quite delicious and freshly prepared and a good assortment is contained in a refrigerated cabinet.
I ordered a fresh juice too which was delicious and flavoursome

We had breakfast one morning recently while staying in the area.
We received a greeting with a smile by the young lady behind the counter.

we ordered cooked breakfast consisting of eggs bacon and toast with tomatoe, which was absolutely delicious. My dearest husband loved the bacon as he said it was cooked "just right" and not burnt! my son loved the scrambled eggs which tasted very freshly made.

great little cafe to dine in with good service.

We stayed here for 1 night recently after we changed motels in the region as we not very comfy there. We cannot thank the owners Fiona and Warren enough for being so accommodating to fit us in at the last minute!
We found our room to be spotlessly cleaned and comfortable.
we had such a good nights sleep which is what you need when you are out travelling.

the motel has a solar heated pool which we made the most of to cool down in the summer's heat. towels were also provided by the pool and deck chairs to relax beneath the shade.

great location too, as its on the main street to get to cafes and other local shops.

We went to this pub on the recommendation of a local for dinner and certainly were not disappointed!! We arrived little early as dinner starts 6pm but the staff were very obliging to let us come in and grab a drink at the bar. They even allowed us to order our meals as soon as we arrived and ensured that dinner would be on our tables at about 6pm once the chefs started ... they saw that we had a young child in tow too and he would be hungry!
We ordered a kids meal of sausage, chips and salad ($9) which was served with gravy on the side, our little boy enjoyed his dinner.
us parents ordered chicken parma (our favourite pub meal) and it was absolutely divine!!! the tomatoe sauce topping was delicious and flavoursome and the chicken was thick cut and cooked perfectly . a very generous serving with salad and chips too (about $20 or so)

a great meal had by us and were very impressed at how lovely the staff were!

definitely going back there for a meal next time we visit the beautiful town of Beechworth

We had originally booked 2 nights accommodation for us during the Christmas holiday period and we had to cut our vacation short after our 1st night as we had a terrible nights sleep.

We found the bed extremely hard and the pillow was not satisfactory at all in that it was so hard to sleep on and had no movement either. To top it off our room was situate right in front of a security light which shone brightly into our room (we do not blame management for this of course!!).

the room itself was very clean and well maintained. a small mini fridge and coffee pod machine was also available which was an added bonus.

there is a small swimming pool on site but unfortunately it was closed for repairs, which was a shame as we were there on very hot days.

the management of the motel were absolutely brilliant, such polite people who let us check in earlier than the usual 2pm time as our room was ready. When we expressed our disappointment in our experience of bad night's sleep, the owners were very apologetic trying their best to find another room to accommodate us. in the end, the owners refunded our 2nd night accommodation and found us another motel for us to check into.

I have absolute praise for the management who were very understanding and helpful in resolving our issue.

Absolutely divine tasting souvlakis!!! the meat is very soft and flavoursome served on a warmed up pita bread with sauce. really good meal. i skipped the chips as the souv is filling enough for me but keen to try it some day as they sound appealing (feta and oregano).

staff are great, i remember the first time i went the staff behind the counter was patient with me as i familarised myself with the menu, giving me suggestions on what to order.

they even do a kids size which is about $6 which is a handy little snack or a light lunch

Yes its another sushi bar situate among a shopping centre food court ... but this is one of my favourite places to get my sushi fix.
apart from being fresh tasting and delicious, the variety is better in the boxes than other comparable places.

staff are always pleasant in serving me.
