Good thai place to go in Ascot Vale, although it gets very loud on weekends. Staff seem to be a little run off their feet but are polite. Nice place for a catch up but not for an intimate date or chat session. Good value and great food, although they gave us a whole fish when we asked for fillets. Still very enjoyable though.

Lively cafe that is open late on weekends. Not too noisy and we were served fairly quickly but staff were friendly. Our order was a little mixed up but it was served fast enough. Good amount of froth on cappucinos, including the soy capp, and marshmallows on the hot chocolate was a nice touch. Nice and warm for a catch up or after dinner coffee.

Great place to try something different if you enjoy dancing! Classes are non-threatening and welcoming. I tried back to the 80s dance class with Ally and had a great time. Their prices are very reasonable and there are lots of classes to choose from. Friendly teachers and manageable routines and instruction. I will definitely be back! Try a casual class - there are a few going. I love that you can just drop in whenever it suits you for a casual class as I have a schedule that changes frequently so regular times are not always good for me. Not to difficult to find the school and teachers and students alike are friendly. I'll be coming here more often in future :)

Nice place to have a long, relaxing breakfast. I ducked in for a coffee on my way to work and whilst I was waiting, I eyed off many great looking breakfast dishes. Service was a little slow but they seemed to be run off their feet, being underneath a hotel I assume that a lot of the patrons are hotel stayers who have come out for a social breakfast. Coffee was quite good, nice and bold, and it was made by a nice waiter who took my order as he passed me in line and then made my coffee himself. Got to love that for service (there were other people waiting in front of me but I pulled him aside asking if I could have a coffee). I'll definitely come here again for coffee and even breakfast with the boyfriend. They have $2 coffee weekdays I think it is before 11am, which is great.

This review is for Nashi, Melbourne VIC

A chain of cafe/baguette/snack places, the Nashi on Collins st is located in the food court and offers healthy snack food and coffees. My coffee was ok, nothing special or memorable. Price was a little too much for my liking, but standard for most coffee places in the city. I was served after a short wait (only one staff member on and it was a weekday morning) but the service was friendly enough. I would go there again though as the baguettes looked yum.

This review is for Dan Dans Cafe, Moonee Ponds VIC

Dan Dans is a nice little café located within the shopping centre in Moonee Ponds. This is a good place to go if you are after a cheap snack or lunch. Good range of items available, I had the soup of the day ($6.50) and my boyfriend had the fish and chips snack pack ($5). Coffee was ok but I didn't enjoy it that much to be honest. I would only come back here for the convenience as there are better cafes on the main strip. Soup was nice just a little watery, for lentil soup I expected a thick and hearty soup. Can't ask for too much though when the prices are so reasonable. We would come back here but only if other places were not readily accessible.

Nice little cosy café in the heart of the city, well almost. Located on Queen st, this café pretty much blends into the woodwork if you are not careful! Lots of dark wood décor, minimal table decorations and lots of seating for its size, this is an ideal place to get a private lunch with a co-worker or friend. Coffee was great, made quickly and expertly and as I ordered. Not the best coffee I have had lately but definitely 3.5 stars out of 5. they also have a range of juices and cook made to order breakfasts and lunches. Well worth a stop off if you are down queen st end of the city, a little bit up from Collins St.

Lovely little coffee shop - as in literally a coffee shop - selling beans and coffee supplies, with a cafe as the main storefront. Nice and clean and tidy, modern decor and great presentation of food in cabinets and on the counter. Blueberry muffins were massive and well priced, same goes for the mocha I ordered for my boyfriend. I was impressed at his Mocha - comes in a tall glass and when I tasted it I found it to be rich and smooth and sweet without adding extra sugar. Excellent froth on my cappucino, great firm texture and lovely smooth blend, just strong enough without asking for an extra shot. Coffee was $3 for a generous mug size, service was quick and friendly. It is definitely worth the walk from my place (approx 3kms) and I will be having that muffin next time!

Good place for a work lunch. i had coffee here and was served quickly and politely. coffee was nice but not great. i might come here again but there are better places nearby. nice friendly staff and warm decor with lots of wood. i would come here for lunch with colleagues as they have a good italian lunch menu. but for those times you want an amazing coffee, sadly this is not the place.

great little cupcake shop nestled in next to the shoe store. Lovely decor, nice and crisp and clean. Cupcakes are reliably tasty, coffee was nice, strong and smooth with a rounded finish. Good coffee and cupcake deal for $4.90.
