I wish i could be more glowing about this place as i was recommended to go here by family. We went in and ordered two pizzas, one for another family member and one for us. I requested to subtract an ingredient which i am allergic to and replace it with another. Granted i didn't explain i was allergic to it but nonetheless when we got home, it had the ingredient i'm allergic to still on it, and no replacement ingredient in site. It was a half and half order though and the other half was nice. The pizzas are cheap that's for sure, and there is a LOT of topping on them so no skimping there, but in my quality-over-quantity ethos, it doesn't cut it at all. Some people love the place, i don't. Still worth a shot if you're in the area though, they have some interesting topping combinations - chocolate pizza anyone?

Have been to this restaurant many times, but have never dined in, it's all been takeaway. You are always quickly greeted and the orders are processed quickly. The soups are great, the rice is great, i quite like the various dumplings and dim sims, and as with many similar restaurants you'll get a free bag of prawn crackers if your order is around $30 in my experience. The only issue we've ever had from going there was one time the lid on my wonton soup wasn't fitted 100% properly and on the way home it spilled out, through the protective glad wrap around the contained, then permeated through the plastic bag and burnt my legs as i was passenger-ing on the way home. This is no reason to not go there though, i was stupid for holding it on my lap anyway. We use a cardboard box now. The restaurant itself is very large with huge ceilings and is packed on the weekends. Highly recommended, they make great food.

Had pizza at this shop once, and it was quite nice. It had a different taste to it in the base than your average place. The base tasted more like a focaccia which i actually liked quite a bit. Service is good, waiting time about average, and the price was right. Parking is limited depending on the time of day due to being on the main road but overall is easy enough to get to.

This was our local pizza place for quite a while and we visited more times that we probably should have. They make really tasty, cheap pizza that is consistent in its taste. The shop is small but the staff are friendly and take the time to make you feel like a valued customer. There were other pizza places closer to where we lived but this one was worth the extra travel time.

This is a bakery you should visit if you're in the NE of Vic. It's a picturesque town with generally friendly people. The bakery itself has a good layout with a row of booth-style tables setup on the left wall, with the vast counter on the right. The pies are great! The pastry is delicate and fresh, and the fillings are perfectly seasoned. They make a great sausage roll which is very unique in texture and taste. The desserts are quite good too. The price is about average and the service is polite and friendly. Get in quick though, they sell out of the favourites very quickly!

This is a great pie place! I've been twice and intend to go back again. My parents love it also. When i went i had a pie which i forget the variety of but it was fantastic. My partner also had one and she loved it. They're square pies which i've said before automatically taste better! They're just the right amount of filling with just the right amount of seasoning. Which leads me to the next area, dessert. They have a white chocolate and macadamia caramel slice which makes me want to drive back there for over and over again. I'm pretty sure that's what it was from memory. Either way the other desserts were also fantastic, my partner got a hedgehog which she said was top marks too. It's a great location, a stones throw from Lake Hume. Very much visit this bakery if you're in the area, top marks.

I visited this pizzeria several times while living in the town and have since been back as well. The pizzas while not being hugely cheap are generally great. They taste the part for sure, nice spread of toppings, a good selection of choices on the menu, and the staff are friendly. They have been around for quite a while and know how to make a decent pizza. Unfortunately on our most recent visit the pizza was very oily and i didn't finish it, but i must stress that this is a rarity, and every other time they've been fantastic so don't rule it out based on that. The waiting area is more than adequate with plenty of magazines and newspapers to read while you wait. Good location in the town also. I recommend this place.

This restaurant is well presented, and very much fits the theme elegantly and invitingly. The front desk staff are pleasant and polite. The waiting time for the food is decent, and the food itself is quite good. It looks nice, and tastes the part. We have dined in and had take-away from there and on both occasions the food was nice. The food won't knock your socks off but the restaurant is consistent in its food preparation and has a pleasant atmosphere.

I lived in Beechworth for a while, and have also visited this bakery before, and after that time. It gets a lot of hype but in my experience and tastes, falls short of many other bakeries. It's not so cheap either. The Ned Kelly Pie is always worth a shot, but be careful as the base of the pies can crack frequently. The sausage rolls are lacking flavour for me, so i always get sauce. The lines are always completely chaotic, in fact there really aren't any. It's a walk in, then 'whoever gets' situation. I will say however that in recent months, the taste and quality of the pies seems to have risen noticeably. They make well presented pastries that's for sure, and they're worth a shot if you're there, since there's not really much (if any) competition there in that category. It's just that i think there is much room for improvement.

This is a very good fish and chips establishment. it's one of my favourites. The staff are very smiley and polite, the prices are about average. Nicely presented store with hanging menus, and lots of staff constantly pumping out lots of quality food. Decent range of options, and the food is generally very good. Been many times.
