This review is for Car Wash @ Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre, Endeavour Hills VIC

verified email - 22 May 2013

i have had various cars washed here over time, mainly both of ours, and once a mate's car. They do a decent job most of the time, although sometimes there are a few bits of missed dirt which taints the look quite a bit. The price is definitely right and the location is good. From memory they charge more on a Saturday so get it done either side of that day.

This review is for Melbourne Zoo, Parkville VIC

I love Melbourne Zoo. It never gets old, and the atmosphere is always good. Situated not too far from Melbourne CBD, it sits on a slight hill and has many paths winding through the property, leading you to weird and wonderful (and some quite normal) animals. My favourite area is always the butterfly enclosure where you roam around with them as they randomly run into your face. There are plenty of monkeys and anything you could think of really. Well worth a visit, and is a family friendly venue. Bring your wallet though, it's not cheap to get in.

This review is for Seymour Street Medical & Dental Centre, Ringwood VIC

having come from another area with a big 24 hour bulk billing medical centre, i was looking for another of the same when i moved to the Ringwood area. I came across the Seymour St Medical Centre from a google search, and tried it out. They bulk bill, the reception staff are courteous, and there is a large waiting area with plenty of seats around. There are a lot of consulting rooms and many different doctors to choose from. There is also a dental section, and a pharmacy located inside the centre, first thing on the left as you walk in the main door. The location is quite good, with Seymour St running parallel to Maroondah highway in the middle of Ringwood. I have seen many doctors there and they're all reasonably good.

This review is for Casey Superclinic Pharmacy, Berwick VIC

verified email - 16 May 2013

Have used this pharmacy many times due to its convenience, being located inside the clinic itself, and trading outside normal hours. This obviously makes it easy to walk straight in and fill prescriptions given from the clinic, but the prices are certainly not what i'd call cheap. The chemist itself is a decent size, and has a wide variety of items. The service has been good every time i've gone. Waiting times are about average. Has helped a few times when we haven't been able to find anywhere else open at the time.

This review is for Murray River Motel, Mulwala NSW

verified email - 16 May 2013

We stayed at this motel on a recent trip to one of our favourite destinations, Mulwala. The room was clean and functional, and the service was courteous and accommodating (literally). The location is very good. It's a short stroll from the Mulwala bridge, which in my opinion is one of the most iconic bridges in the country. It has a lot of history to it, and is a tight squeeze. The motel has fair rates, and is the perfect spot to kick back and take in some country air. We stayed in a base room but there are other more ritzy options available. The motel itself is a hop-skip-'n'-a-jump from the lake itself, which is a thing of beauty, especially as the sun sets. Try these guys out.

This review is for The Elephant & Wheelbarrow, St Kilda VIC

Been here many a time, last time was a few weeks back. Have only ever been there in the evening and on the weekend. The prices of alcohol are not cheap, but i can't think of anywhere that is in Melbourne any more. However they do mix a very well balanced drink (sprits). The atmosphere is always pretty electric later in the night. However be prepared to line up for the gents toward midnight, and once you finally get in it's like playing man-tetris in the couple-of-phone-booth sized toilet area. Still worth a visit though.

This review is for Noodle Mas, Wangaratta VIC

verified email - 16 May 2013

Have been here a few times. There is a wide selection of noodles on the menu as per their name, as well as other items if you so choose. The service is always friendly and the wait times aren't very long. The location is good as it's right in the heart of the town, and parking is easy enough even on the weekend, as there is street parking everywhere around. This place has been around for quite a while and there's a good reason for that. I used to live in the area and it was a favourite when take-away was the choice of meal.

This review is for The Sofitel Melbourne, Melbourne VIC

We stayed in this hotel and had a fantastic time. Let me start off with the main attraction: THE VIEW. We stayed pretty high up and the view was breathtaking. The room was well appointed if a little smaller than some of the other bigger names in the CBD. The food was nice and the service was polite and efficient. To be honest i got a little dizzy from being up so high but that's nothing to do with the place itself! I'd recommend this hotel, but shop around for a good pre-paid deal like any other hotel.

This review is for Radii, Melbourne VIC

verified email - 16 May 2013

This is my favourite place to eat breakfast in Melbourne at the moment. Radii is a fantastic looking restaurant which drops and rises between a few different levels. It is a very artistic design. The food for breakfast at least is buffet style with sausages, bacon, bread, cereals, many fresh juices, fruit, hash browns, eggs cooked however you ask and so on. It's a good atmosphere on the outskirts of the CBD, the service is good and the food is divine. The smoked salmon is my favourite item on the breaky menu. It's not what you'd call cheap, but you wouldn't walk in there expecting it to be. Definitely recommended.

This review is for Knox City Fruit Vegetable Market, Wantirna South VIC

verified email - 15 May 2013

We've used this grocer a few times for some what seems like fresher, cheaper produce. We usually buy avocados from there as they're much cheaper than the main stores. There is a wide variety of fruit and veg there, it's a big layout. They even have more odd varieties of things like mini avocados the size of your thumb! No idea what use they'd be but there you go. The staff are efficient and friendly enough, and the location is good. From memory they had EFTPOS but it was a $10 minimum so take cash just to be sure.
