This review is for Nunawading Pharmacy, Nunawading VIC

I have been to this chemist a few times mainly when the normal one is shut and we need to grab something. A few reviews here say about it being 24 hours, but as at the date of this review they are open 9am-midnight Mon-Sat and 10am-11pm Sun & public holidays. They've generally got everything you need in stock but on the occasions i've bought from them, the full prices were higher than i'm used to paying by a fair amount (no discount/healthcare cards for me). Either way they're in a convenient location, albeit pretty close to a big intersection and they have what you need.

Have been here several times. They're conveniently located inside the food court in Eastland Shopping Centre. They have a decent selection of sushi rolls which are quite nice. The place is small but it's part of a food court. The service is decent and the price is quite good.

Have been to this establishment a few times now, i keep going back for the chocolate thickshakes. While they're not served in the biggest cups you'll find, and they're not all that cheap, they are hands down some of the best thickshakes i've ever had. They seem to add a lot of malt to them which is my favourite part of a good thickshake. They have a good selection of choices on the menu and there is plenty of seating available right near the shop-front as they're located inside Forest Hill Chase. Make a stop and quench your thirst after a busy day's shopping. Recommended.

This review is for That Bakery, Ringwood VIC

In our local shopping centre where we visit another chain frequently, we noticed a shop just near the entrance being renovated. Not long later "That Bakery" appeared. Impressed by the catchy name we went and took a look. It's a nice clean setup, and has friendly staff. They have a wide range of desserts from canoli to vanilla slice. They had a good selection of meat pies and other pastries too. We went straight for the dessert section, and ordered a canoli and a caramel slice. We shared them and they were both fantastic. The canoli had a beautifully crisp shell the way it should be and the caramel slice, while stacked VERY high with caramel, was fantastic. The caramel was a lot more subtle than your average caramel slice and it was a delight. Well worth a look when you're in Ringwood Square. unfortunately there are no contact details available on google that i can find as yet.

This review is for Ringwood Genius Home & Gifts, Ringwood VIC

We just purchased something for a family member from this store. It is located near the top of the escalator in the Ringwood Square shopping complex. They stock a wide variety of gifts, ornaments, what looked like cleaning products and even perfume. There was a large selection of ornaments, candles, and even things like stick rollers to remove lint from clothing. The service was efficient and the item we bought was wrapped up very well in bubble wrap with no fuss at all. Worth a look if you're wanting a quick gift.

Shopped at this little store not so long ago. They have a wide variety of nick-nacks and novelties. It's a good choice if you're shopping for someone who likes ornaments and that type of thing. To be honest there isn't much they don't sell in there. The service was appropriate and efficient, the prices are about average for this type of store.

This review is for Buena Villa, Echuca VIC

A few months back we visited Echuca for a nice weekend away. I looked through an accommodation website and came across this place. They had themed rooms available which was intriguing. The price was right so i gave them a call and spoke for a while with the gentleman who co-runs it. Was a friendly guy. When we got there we checked into our asian-themed room which looked like Japanese architecture. It was a very relaxing stay, and it's setup almost like a hotel, with the rooms well separated from one another. Parking is easy in the fenced off section at the front of the establishment. The staff were both very friendly, including recommending where to get some dinner from. There was a little water-feature and courtyard in the room also.

If you're looking to stay near the border, then definitely give these guys a try, we'd definitely stay there again. Book early, they tend to book out all the themed rooms fairly quickly.

Approximate cost: $300

This review is for The Sebel Heritage Yarra Valley, Chirnside Park VIC

verified email - 10 Dec 2012

I recently had the privilege of staying at the Sebel Heritage in Chirnside Park. I knew little of the place, it is situated in a golf course, and i don't visit golf courses all that much! The hotel is very nicely placed a few km down the private road for the course, and had complimentary undercover parking. The front desk staff were very friendly and polite. The restaurant staff were fantastic, you never needed to ask for anything, it was all provided before you knew you wanted it. The food was top notch, i have not had better at another 5 star hotel. Breakfast was more of the same, fresh delicious food served perfectly. The room was adequate in size and nicely appointed with glass benchtops and a bath as well as shower. The shower was certainly a little cramped but that's the only negative i could say. Overnight was peaceful and quiet. I very much recommend this hotel for business or pleasure, one of the most relaxing places i've stayed at.

This review is for Ringwood Fresh Green Grocer, Ringwood VIC

verified email - 10 Dec 2012

I quite often visit this greengrocer while shopping in the same complex, and they generally have a very good range of vegetables. Everything looks fresh on their market-style display setup. The goods are relatively cheap in comparison to some bigger chains, and the staff help if asked. There is also a section to the far right as you walk in which contains some imported Asian cooking ingredients, spices and so on. Well worth a visit.

I have been to this pharmacy many times recently and they are one of the best i've been to. The chemist is a very friendly lady, very knowledgeable and helpful. The waiting time for scripts is generally minimal, 10 minutes is about the most i've ever waited. The store has a large range of items including perfume and aftershave, and is conveniently located inside Ringwood Square shopping complex, with an entrance both on the inside and carpark side of the building. I very much endorse this business.
