Great place to buy quality branded kitchen ware! I wanted a certain brand of salt and pepper shakers (Old Thompson) and when I couldn't find them at any of the major department stores or homewares stores I searched online and came across this business. They weren't expensive and my order arrived in only a couple of days - no hitches at all.
I'm now getting emails from them with other specials and have just ordered a Scanpan roaster at a great price.

These pizzas genuinely taste like they're from Italy - which is very hard to find in Melbourne. We went here for a friend's birthday and there was quite a big group - maybe 20. We ordered the set menu for everyone and it was superb. Olives, garlic pizza, calamari, and a selection of pizzas - all of which were delicious. We sat outside and even though it was the middle of winter, we weren't cold at all thanks to the overhead heaters. The service was a little quirky - a bit abrupt and we were never quite sure whether the waiter was being sarcastic or not. Didn't matter though - a great night had by all.

I recently went here with a group of friends and I was pretty amazed at the quality. Its a small shopfront so from the outside doesn't look that great (especially as we were fairly early and there was no one else there yet). But we were not disappointed! The food was really, really good - more like a place where you'd pay $35+ per meal. I had a roast duck dish and it was amazing. We also had some chips to share between us to start with and these were just like real Belgium fries! YUM! Unfortunately we had planned to see a movie so didn't get to sample their desserts but we'll definitely be back.

Approximate cost: $22-28

Recently this has become a regular meeting place for myself and a colleague of mine! Partly because the location is convenient, but also because it has a really nice vibe and great coffee! Staff are always friendly and with the sun shining through the windows in the morning, its a great place to hang out and chat.

Good homewares - but often not the best prices. Right now they have a sale on where their gift cards are only $1.95 (and they're gorgeous cards). THey also have some nice handbags, jewellery and you can always find a gift here.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy great food, wine and relax - you can't go past Lamaro's. Its not a cheap night out, but I've been twice now and its been worth every cent. Recently went with a group of 6 of us and had a great night. Service was just right (not in your face but always there when you needed anything) and the food was amazing. Half the table ordered a steak dish - which they said was great, and the rest of us ordered a special seafood linguini - which was fantastic. But the best part was the dessert - you have to try the hot chocolate pudding... mmmm

After seeing this business mentioned several times on WOMOW, I thought I'd give them a call. I was about to buy a carseat for our toddler as baby #2 is on the way. A friend had told me about a sale that Baby Bunting were having but when I called The Baby Gallery, their prices were $10 cheaper anyway. When I got there, the sales lady was lovely and actually talked me into getting the model down from what I was going to (as the difference is minimal and price difference quite a lot). I also got a Coccoon for our Phil n Teds pram, some more sheets, and a mattress protector - all at very reasonable prices. Wish I'd known about them earlier - defintely worth visiting if you need to buy a few things or to some of the bigger items.

I've just discovered the quiches these guys have - yum and make a great easy dinner when we're too lazy to cook! I also call in on Dockendorf's when I have a few things to get. I find that their deli is great (their ham is cheaper and much nicer than the big supermarkets).

Came here for a Sunday brunch with a large family group. I'd been here before but didn't realise they had such a nice outdoor courtyard down the back (at the side). This was ideal as its quite sheltered but lovely sitting outdoors with a bit of dappled sunlight.
The coffees were great and I had standard poached egs with mushrooms and avo on toast - yum. Everyone else seemed happy with their meals too - omlettes, salmon bagels, spanish breakfasts, etc. They were all generous sizes too.

Approximate cost: $12 (for breakfast)

If you're looking for a smaller, more personal winery, this is a good one to visit! We came for a light lunch on the weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. The people were very friendly and the lunch was made up of local produce - cheeses, relish, breads, olives, pastrami, etc. (Although I'm not sure if this is always available.) We sat in their outdoor area and even though it was raining most of the time, we were quite comfortable thanks to the protection provided. There are also some nice areas to eat a picnic on if the weather was a bit nicer. I didn't try the wine but my parents had the pinot and said it was very good.

Approximate cost: $15
