I booked my car in for a service after purchasing a deal from one of those daily deals websites. I received a text the day before reminding me of the service. I dropped my car in that morning and it was ready for pick up in the afternoon. I was called during the day to ok any work, and to let me know the state of my car.
I was very pleased with the communication. After having tried several different mechanics in the area, I feel I will stick with these guys as they are honest, friendly and trustworthy.

Went here with a friend for a pamper party package that we'd purchased from one of those deal offers websites. It was for a vitamin boost mask, soak in a tub, and mini mani or pedi.
The face mask was a homemade one. The therapist applied it to our faces with the same brush, which I felt was a big no no, as I had a coldsore that day.
We were then directed to soak in the tubs for around 20 minutes or so, at which point we washed off our own masks. Then we went and had our mini mani or pedi. The owner has just opened the business in September, and is very passionate about all the work she has put in. However, she did not create a relaxing environment, as she spent the majority of the time telling my friend and I about the history of the baths. We were interested in knowing a little, but not to the point where we couldn't actually talk to each other because the owner kept talking about the different rooms and architectural features.
I would not return here as I did not find it to be a particularly relaxing experience.
I do believe that it will grow in popularity as a tourist attraction, as they are Melbourne's original baths and can cater for up to 9 people at a time.

This review is for Cupcakes By Linda, Box Hill South VIC

Linda made 90 cupcakes, plus a jumbo sized cupcake for my wedding. They were divine. I had a lot of positive comments on the appearance and taste. I had a 50s inspired wedding and Linda worked with me to achieve cupcakes that fit into this theme.
She responded to my emails quickly and always had great suggestions.
She was extremely reasonably priced. I will certainly be using her again for special occasions.

Simon took my wedding photos just over 2 weeks ago. I already have the edited images on disc in my hand! He was amazing- unobtrusive on the day. Photographed exactly as we wanted- in a candid style. Nothing too cheesy or posed. It was fun having him shoot us. Very reasonably priced and fast service. Our photos are simply beautiful. He even captured our nearly 2 year old looking half decent...definitely not an easy task! I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him to any bride to be for high quality wedding photography.

I have been attending this studio on an unlimited yoga pass for nearly the last 4 months. The classes are very reasonably priced. All of the teachers are great. The studio itself is a calm and relaxing environment, with nice candles, lamps, and essential oils burning. Karen is wonderful and makes everyone feel welcome.

Booked in for one night in one of the budget upstairs rooms. I was looking forward to using the advertised free wireless, however could not get a signal in my room. I went downstairs to reception and they apologised, and upgraded me to one of the more expensive Heritage rooms free of charge.
The Heritage room is WAY nicer than upstairs room, with a flat screen tv, and much nicer furnishings. I had dinner in the Marble Bar, and it was very nice and fantastic value.
I found the staff to be very friendly and pleasant, with nothing too much trouble for them.
The location is AMAZING! Right in the heart of the city, with the tram stop right out front, and Rundle Mall only a short walk.
Next time I'm in Adelaide I will most definitely stay here.

This review is for Haigh's Chocolates, Adelaide SA

verified email - 07 Jul 2010

I went to the Haigh's Chocolate Factory, which is over on Greenhill Rd. Whenever I visit Adelaide, I make a point of visiting here as I stock up on whatever seconds are available. Yesterday I went in, picked up $50 worth of seconds and went to the counter in the middle of the shop to pay. No one was there so I waited patiently.
A female staff member sorting truffles behind a display case behind me then looked over at me with one raised eyebrow and said 'Are you looking to pay?'. I said yes, and then she rudely gestured me over with two arms in an over the top motion, with an exasperated expression on her face. I don't know what her problem was, but it was only 9.30am, and where she was working didn't look like it had a register. Felt like a bother and annoyance to her.
I do really love their chocolates though (especially the berry chocs).

Had my order taken quite quickly. This is probably the only positive thing I can say about this place. The chai latte I had was pathetic- practically no flavour, it was like drinking a glass of milk. I ordered crumbed chicken off the specials board. The description on the menu board sounded brilliant, but what came out looked like your frozen crumbed chicken strip that had been heated, with sauteed mushrooms inside, and some kind of unidentifiable sauce around the edge of the plate.
Others on my table ordered the roast lamb salad, which was described from 'ordinary', to 'pathetic'.
Decor inside is groovy, and service is quick...but food no good.
Will not return.

Recently purchased a poncho towel from them. After an initial stuff up, having been sent pink instead of blue, was happy until I actually used the towel. It is so small it barely covers my 13 month old and is useless for drying him.
I emailed the company to let them know, and suggested they update the specific product page with measurements so no one else would be disappointed, which they promised to do.
3 months later, it hadn't been done, and I received a rude email back from them saying that updating the page is on their 'to do' list and they will get around to it. Also that obviously I have a tall child (I don't, he is bottom 3rd percentile) as no one else with older children had been unhappy with the towel.

Went out for lunch with my family. Within 5 minutes of sitting down, 2 staff came over to take our orders. One of our party's drinks didn't come out until after the meals had been finished, even though it had been asked after 3 times. The waitress was rude. Wouldn't return, the prices are average, and the service even more so.
