This shop had some lovely items made from Huon Pine. I found their gifts lovely but a little expensive. On the other hand you can find some unique pieces so worth at least having a look if you are in the area.

I buy lots of gifts for my book lover friends from here. You can buy books on all topics often at a very reduced price. They also sell bookmarks and kid's toys, as well as Lonely Planet books (these are usually full price.)

As a teacher I made a trip to this shop for supplies. I was disappointed with what they have in stock, although they will order for you if they can get it. Prices do not seem competitive.

Went here for a 21st. The place was packed but everyone was served within a reasonable time. Food is delicous, and the place has a great atmosphere.

Went here for a night out with some friends. Nice feeling jazz, with laid back atmosphere. Cost is very reasonable. Can be very crowded. Highly recommend!

Went here for dinner with friends. The food is very good, I had a prawn dish and the food was tasty and portions generous. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service is good. Would definetely go back, and my friends agreed.

Approximate cost: $23

This restaurant is very disappointing. Had dinner there recently and would not go back. Soup cold and 'gluey'. Servings small and although service is okay it does not make up for over-priced mediocre food.

Approximate cost: $28

It is well worth a visit to this historical cottage which has been kept furnished with typical 1950s furniture. Originally built by the architect Harry Seidler, it is interesting to see what would have been considered as an avant garde building at the time.

Approximate cost: $8

This club is okay if you just want to stop for a quick drink. Food is fairly simple, and it mainly seems to be used for poker machine playing and betting. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

A group of ten of us went here for lunch on a Saturday. The food is very good, although the servings are a bit small. Service was reasonable. Parking can be difficult to find, ended up finding parking in a back street.
